I underwent a Sigmoidoscopy Scoping Procedure at the hospital in order to confirm my clinical diagnosis of IBD Moderate to Severe Ulcerative Colitis. In my case, I was unable to receive anesthesia for the procedure, so this video is a "storytime" about my experience of being awake for my Sigmoidoscopy.

On this week's CBYX Germany Vlog, my good friend Gingerlee comes to Nuremberg to visit for the weekend. Gingerlee is also on the CBYX (PPP) Vocational Youth Exchange Germany, but she is living with her German host family in Berlin.
During the week we visited something called "Konsumenta" in the area around Nuremberg. We thought it was going to be a lot of free food, but in the end was essentially just a bunch of companies showcasing their products.
Day 2: Gingerlee and I venture into the German forest in the area around my German Hosts parents house. Later in the day, we traveled to Herzogenaurach, the town in which I went to school, but also the very town that world renowned athletic brands Puma and Adidas have their headquarters.

Day3: Gingerless and I travel into the City of Nuremberg, to check out the main Nuremberg attracts, such as the Nuremberg Fortress, The Nuremberg Old City, and try the local specialty of the Three Nuremberg Sausages in a bread roll. Good Stuff.
To see more videos with Gingerlee, check out our "Insanity Trip" series, in which we travel around Europe/Germany for Two Weeks.

Here's my hypothesis: You are a useless time traveler. I mean seriously, you are 100%, FDA certified, blistering hot, trash garbage at going back in time and being effective.
What are my grounds for this hypothetical claim… well, it's not a hard science proof, but for 3 easy payments of $19.95 plus shipping and handling, you’re going have to watch this video essay to find out. So sit back, relax, and put things at 1.5 speed for convince.
THE QUESTION:
If any random person, of at least, average intelligence and knowledge, is sent back in time, what influence could this person have over the rate of technological advancement?
CONDITIONS:
As you have probably realized, the closer we get to modern day and technology advances, the more my theory starts to break down. Therefore, let's keep the discussion within the range of the 1700s and earlier - a time before the major modern innovations in science and technology such as electricity, machines, medicine, etc. When I was first brainstorming this concept, I was thinking about what it would be like to try and communicate my knowledge of science, engineering and the world with ancient civilizations and societies, from ancient Egypt to the heights of the Greek and Roman empires. However, in the video, I felt it would make more sense to start out the discussion in medieval times for context.

To be fair... IBD Ulcerative Colitis (Pancolitis) is really the bad guy here. However, that is not to say I can't complain about my least favorite parts about being at the Hospital for treatment of my IBD and UC Diagnosis.
