I’ve consistently exercised the past few years.
I prefer to run, but because the streets of Bangkok are so congested, I'd be asking for injury.
"Eyes on the road buddy!"
The gyms here are also far and in-between so I decided to make the best of my situation by starting a bodyweight exercise challenge.
My two primary exercise goals are to get my heart rate up and break a sweat, my secondary goals are to have fun and work out for at least 20 minutes.
In this video I go into the specific steps I take throughout my bodyweight exercise regiment, which varies but is fairly consistent with the same elements.
This is a fantastic challenge because it's convenient, efficient, safer, etc...
I also go into the benefits of bodyweight exercises at the end of the video so stick around. To take full advantage of this video please click on one of the links below to get started on your journey of living to challenge!

What if Trump made a religion?
Does anyone doubt there wouldn’t at least be a few thousand people willing to convert?
And then once the Church of Trump becomes an established religion with thousands of followers, a temple, and its own holy book with Trump as the Last Last True Prophet then based on the “Terms of Service” of social media companies no one would be allowed to criticize Trump and his followers ever again in our digital townhalls!
Because you’ll be labeled “Trumphobic!”
Banned.
End of rational discussion.
“You may not promote violence against or directly attack or threaten other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease.”
You see, it wouldn’t matter if Trump became a pedophile by consummating a polygamous marriage with a 9-year-old girl, owned sex slaves, robbed caravans, killed enemies, advocated for the death penalty of apostates/gays/adulterers, encouraged beating “arrogant” wives, cursed hair extensions/alcohol/tattoos/music, proclaimed a woman’s opinion one-half a man’s in financial transactions, wedded his daughter to his first cousin, promised 72 “transparent” virgins and “beautiful” young boys for martyrdom, or made countless verifiably false statements about science, if you criticize the perfect human then you could be labeled Trumphobic and therefore be banned.
After all, there are over 50 verses in Trumpology’s Holy Book telling us to take the Last Last True Prophet as a role model. God says, “There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent example to follow.” — Chapter 33, Verse 21
47: 33 Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and do not let your deeds go to waste.
58: 20 Those who oppose Allah and His Messenger are among the lowliest.
A follower must either basically endorse everything the most perfect human did because after all who are you to sham the Last Last True Prophet or you acknowledge he wasn’t perfect and therefore, in my opinion, you're no longer be a true follower of the faith. We should have the courage to live by our convictions or the courage to acknowledge they were wrong.
In a rational world, we’d rebuke anyone who believed such a human was the closest thing to perfection.

I started this challenge because I walk so much during the day, at least 5 miles, aka 10,000 steps, that I get a good amount of cardio in just in my day-to-day so to compliment my lower body fitness I wanted to do an upper body fitness challenge so that I can be well-rounded, and what better than a pushup challenge!
A pushup you can do basically anywhere!
I’ve done them in co-working spaces and at my place. I’ve done them in bathrooms and in kitchens. I’ve done 100 a day for 30 days.
As I went through the challenge there was no day where I struggled to hit that 100th pushup. I might do a challenge in the future where I tack on additional pushups each day so maybe start with 100 a day and then the next day do 101, or just do one rep of 25 and then one rep the next day of 26 and see how high I can go overtime.
Toward the middle of the challenge I felt a muscle soreness or tightness in my chest, which I think feels good.
I tracked my 25 reps for a total of 4 a day on a piece of paper that I wrote on top of my to-do list. I’d space out the reps throughout the day because on the few occasions where I waited to do them all in the evening it was obviously a lot harder.
Now for you this challenge might seem laughable or it may seem impossible so adjust the details to your liking.
Instead of aiming for 100 pushups a day aim for 200 or 20.
Instead of doing four reps of 25 do 10 reps of 10 or one rep of 100.
Instead of doing military style pushups as I did you can make them easier by doing them on an incline or doing so-called girl pushups or life your feet up higher or adjust your hands to either workout your triceps more or chest more.
Overall I think pushups are such an awesome workout because they hit so many parts of your chest and you need no equipment.
I think this is a great challenge for people who feel like they don’t have time to dedicate to a 20 minute workout.
I think it is also useful for breaking bad habits so for example if you’re working or studying and have a strong urge to go on Facebook then make a rule that before you can go on Facebook or YouTube you must do 10 pushups.
They’re great to do in the morning to wake you up or in the afternoon when you’re starting to feel sluggish after lunch.
Maybe get gloves if you find it gross to touch the floor in some places.
This challenge will also push your comfort zone. Kind of like Tim Ferris saying to lay in the middle of a Starbucks to do pushups try doing 25 pushups, or even in your office and people might find you weird.
But I think being weird is such a good thing because by not thinking like everyone else and not behaving like everyone else is the only way you can change the way everyone else thinks and behaves.

We are introduced to the Blade Runner world with this iconic opening title:
This then begs the question… would human existence be better if replicants existed?
But if replicant technology was possible then why would we just stop there? Why not make superiors, i.e. machines far more intelligent than humans?
Then with replicants and superiors walking around… what purpose would humans serve if EVERYTHING we can do is done better by a machine?
“More human than human is our motto.” — Tyrell, CEO of TYRELL CORPORATION
The truth is we would have no purpose!
Now you may wish to smack me around, splash some water on my face, and tell me to calm down!
But after we each take a deep breath I would ask you a simple question, “Do you believe in god?”
If you do then you could therefore argue that replicating the human spirit is a technological impossibility.
But if you don’t then creating human replicants is just a technological hurdle.
And if it’s a technological hurdle then it’s not a matter of “if” but “when” {cue Blade Runner music}.
“Quite an experience to live in fear, isn’t it?” — Tyrannical Replicant
And there are a lot of smart people who say sooner rather than later.
At the 2015 Puerto Rico Conference most of the A.I. researchers predicted that we will achieve human-level A.I. before 2060.
You can therefore call me a human supremacist because I believe humans must remain at the top of the pyramid so that we don’t become obsolete at best and lab rats at worst (interesting to consider how our evolutionary mother is the rat, hopefully A.I. wouldn’t treat us similarly).
And to stay on top we must stop technology.
Now you may call me a luddite, meaning someone who opposes technological “progress”.
But then we are ALL luddites after a certain point. Do you think we should advance nuclear technology to the point where a bomb is powerful enough to wipe out an entire city and yet fit nicely inside a briefcase for the low, low cost of $24.95?
And I don’t think we should stop ALL technology, but I do think we need to be more cautious with technological progress in genetics, artificial intelligence, and weaponry.
In these three areas, in particular, I think we will eventually have to reach a stopping point. Maybe not in this century, but maybe the next?
The ultimate question therefore is “When will we be satisfied?”
I think part of being human is to want more and to experience the pain of not having it, which is why I think a bad question would be “How can we stop suffering?”
We should hope future generations experience pain and suffering because it builds character and appreciation, but hopefully not too much suffering.
“Pain reminds you the joy you felt was real.” — Replic

"Those who dare to fail miserably can achieve greatly" - John F. Kennedy
If you want to succeed greatly you have to be daring enough to fail greatly. Or said inversely, if you're not willing to fail greatly than you won't be able to succeed greatly.
At least it's less likely to succeed greatly, which means the safe route is the risk route if that is your goal.
How much success do you want?
If it is not that much then you won't need to risk that much. You can be content and safe, but some people, like myself, feel called toward massive success.
JFK was one of those people. He constantly pushed himself and his comfort zone. And the world was better for it.
How much are you willing to risk to advance yourself and the world?

A bipartisan group of Senators have reached a framework agreement on guns.
The framework proposes to:
Every Republican who supports this framework should be primaried.
It’s a disaster for five main reasons:
How are we going to pay for it? Crickets. If these proposals are such a priority to these Senators then surely they can find areas in our $6 trillion dollar budget to cut to pay for it.
Why is this a federal responsibility? States already fund “mental health,” “school safety,” and “red flag laws” so if they want to increase funding then that’s their prerogative. Our federal government is incompetent at its current responsibilities so it doesn’t need to take on more.
Next, any increase in safety should be commensurate to an equal or greater increase in liberty. Where are the measures that would strengthen the 2nd Amendment such as by abolishing gun taxes? And if you’re going to use an 18 year old’s juvenile record against them then where is the law that would expunge it when they’re 21 years old?
And then what percentage of the money that goes to "mental health" and "school safety" is effectively going to Democrats who advocate for gender theory and gun control? According to FEC data, 90% of mental health professionals are Democrats and the U.S. already spends more than virtually any country on Earth in education so why not take some of the money that goes to “administrators” and put it toward security, or just build a human wall of administrators in front of every school to at least make them useful.

Tucker Carlson said in his recent monologue,
"So what is Mike Bloomberg actually running on? That’s a trick question! Bloomberg isn’t running on anything! Not because he doesn’t have ideas, he’s got plenty of ideas and some of them are far outside the American mainstream. But Bloomberg doesn’t think any of that matters! He’s not running on ideas. He’s not trying to convince voters of anything. He’s not making arguments or working to change their minds on policies they care about. He's trying to buy them and hence, the presidency. It’s the single most cynical political campaign ever run in this country. Bloomberg is trying to subvert our democracy with cash and he’s going all-in to do it." — Tucker: Bloomberg is trying to buy the election
Like Tucker Carlson, I’m a conservative nationalist who believes in increasing import tariffs and having a strong border in order to reduce inequality.
But Tucker Carlson’s monologue can only be described as dishonest pandering targeted at America’s most ignorant.
It’s dishonest because Mike Bloomberg is running on far more ideas than Donald Trump ever did.
If Tucker Carlson went to Mike Bloomberg’s website, he’d see he has released position papers on 31 issues.
And if Tucker Carlson went to Mike Bloomberg’s YouTube channel, he’d see Mike Bloomberg’s speeches are much more substantive and policy-orientated all-be-it drier than Donald Trump’s rallies.
It’s fair to attack Mike Bloomberg on his policies, but to suggest he isn’t running on any is pure ignorance.
I can empathize with Tucker Carlson though because it’s easier to ignore a plethora of complex policies than it is to ignore three simple slogans. I actually think part of Mike Bloomberg’s problem is that he’s too substantive. He should hone it in on 3 key issues with a nice slogan to beat into the American psyche.
And this whole notion that Mike Bloomberg is trying to “buy the election” is absurd. I addressed it in detail before, but to come from Tucker Carlson is especially hypocritical because Donald Trump ran on his own money too.
Tucker Carlson and Republicans loved the idea that Donald Trump couldn't be bought!
But now that Bloomberg, a far more successful businessman, is doing the same he is "buying the presidency”?
Pure hypocrisy.
Tucker Carlson went on to say,
Tucker: Watch him here disavow stop-and-frisk, the single best policy he had as Mayor of New York… {cuts to Bloomberg}
Bloomberg: I defended it, looking back, for too long because I didn’t understand then the unintended pain it was causing to young brown and black families and their kids.
(tucker mike bloomberg buy election, tucker carlson bloomberg stop and frisk, tucker carlson michael bloomberg thoughts, tucker carl

On September 20th, 2001, President Bush demanded the Taliban government to “close the terrorist training camps and hand over leaders of the al-Qaida network.”
A few weeks later, President Bush updated the nation, “None of these demands were met. And now, the Taliban will pay a price.”
Bush then specified how he’d make them pay,
"On my orders, the United States military has begun strikes against al-Qaida terrorist training camps and military installations of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan. These carefully targeted actions are designed to disrupt the use of Afghanistan as a terrorist base of operations and to attack the military capability of the Taliban regime."
He went on to say that with “the collective will of the world” we will “bring [al-Qaeda] to justice.”
Over time though the purpose of this “conflict,” as it was sold to the American people, morphed into regime-change and then democracy-building.
By December 17th, 2001, the Taliban had been removed from power, but most of al-Qaeda and the Taliban had retreated into the mountains and Pakistan so it was argued that to keep them out of power was to build Afghanistan into a democracy.
The United States is committed to helping build a stable and democratic Afghanistan that is free from terror and no longer harbors threats to our security. — Colin Powell, The President’s Budget Request for 2005
The survival of liberty in our land increasingly depends on the success of liberty in other lands. The best hope for peace in our world is the expansion of freedom in all the world. America’s vital interests and our deepest beliefs are now one. — George W. Bush, Second Inaugural Address
It was a noble goal.
The Bush administration could’ve easily propped up a competent enough pro-American dictator to keep out our enemies as the U.S. government had done numerous times in the past. It would’ve cost us much less money and lives, but the Bush administration felt a moral responsibility to leave the country better than how we found it and argued that democracy was our best long-term defense against terrorism.
After all, in the aftermath of 9/11, the war was initiated as a sort of quasi moral crusade. If we propped up a dictator then it would’ve trivialized the tragedy and provided additional fodder to the terrorist argument that the west is evil.
By turning Afghanistan and then Iraq into thriving secular democracies and then defeating the “Axis of Evil,” 9/11 would’ve been even more impactful and meaningful. Fire turned to freedom.
Despite conspiracy theories about oil, any reading of George W. Bush’s life shows that for better or worse he was heavily driven by moral meaning. After all, the born-again Christian campaigned as a “compassionate
