I have astigmatism. When I use a red dot I see a large starburst. What would be the best way to deal with this or site to use?

You did a segment where you ran a match using a cap-and-ball 1862 Colt Police Revolver. You demonstrated how the hammer can be set in-between two chambers so that it could be carried safely while fully loaded. Why wasn't this done by Colt with the Single Action Army? Seems like they could use a recess in the cylinder for the firing pin to reside.

Hi Karl, DB was a fantastic experience! What was your favorite moment from this year’s match?
Sebastian M
Repeat question : Hi Karl , in an older Q&A you've said that you wanted to try a bigger caliber (like 6,5 creedmoor) for the WWSD rifle/DMR but couldn't because there weren't any good polymer lowers. Now that you have the opportunity to practically design your own lowers will you revisit this idea for the WWSD2020?

In general was the M1 Garand a significantly better weapon than the M1 Carbine?

Karl, what sunglasses are you wearing in the 5.56 MDR video? Are they ballistically rated for eye protection?

If you were a civil war soldier and had the ability to choose your own sidearm would you choose a pinfire or rimfire revolver over a cap and ball?
Chadi P. K.
Karl, your collection of guns seems to err more on the side of "for fun". Is this a correct assumption?
Bunny
I love the channel, especially these Q&As! In older videos Karl has said he shoots Tula, but more recently Ian said stick to Wolf Gold. Have you experienced problems with stuck cases when shooting steel ammo and is it okay to go from steel to brass if I clean the chamber out first?
Thomas S
Can you think of any reason why the U.S. Military switched back to full auto for their M4s?

If you could have any gun “steam punked” what would it be?

Karl, with your research into mid to low end red dots for the WWSD project, did you guys look at fixed magnification prisim scopes is similar price ranges?
Rory N
What do you think firearms laws will look like on other planets? Will they be more restrictive given the likelihood of government sponsorship, or less due to the frontier-like spirit of colonization?

Originally designed with the NGW project in mind, @Desert Tech has created a new quad stack magazine and magwell in an attempt to bridge the gap created when migrating away from belt fed to box fed squad automatic weapons. In this video we demonstrate a prototype version of their Quattro system on an AR15/M27 hybrid.

The last major land battle of the War of 1812 was fought just outside of New Orleans as the British were attempting to take the city and control the Mississippi river. This battle was an overwhelming victory for the US and the British casualties were astounding.
The story of this battlefield didn't end there, however, and another struggle was to ensue much later over the community of Fazendeville.

In this video we visit the Arizona Historical Society and were provided very gracious access to Geronimo's actual rifle! The real thing. His actual rifle!
Additionally we discuss the development of the 1870 Springfield from the the earliest incarnation of the 1865 Allin's conversion, and it's subsequent relegation as surplus on the frontier after the adoption of the 1873 Springfield to replace it.

The WWSD project initially used two different uppers, one from VLTOR and the other being AERO. We looked for uppers that specifically included the brass defector but omitted the forward assist.
After using both rifles (and different uppers) extensively, we have standardized on the Aero upper as it does not interfere with our ambidextrous controls and is slightly lighter than the VLTOR equivalent.
The VLTOR upper is an excellent component, but it just did not fit perfectly into our WWSD project's goals.
This video discusses all of this and more.

Karl, have you ever considered making a video on your history with firearms? I know you've mentioned NRA High Power and Cowboy Action Shooting, but all reference to it is scattered across the InRange backlog.

What are your thoughts on the flux pistol "brace" for glocks/sig pistol, considering they retain holsterability (with the proprietary holster) while adding a retractable stock? Could they possibly be a good addition to a law enforcement load out? Would they be allowed in competition or considered an unfair advantage?
