Custom-made Luxury Planet Builder.
So I needed something for my Bounty Hunter's Ship to fly around so I made this paper-mache planet and textured it with a plastic shopping bag.

A quick test animation in a retro vintage cartoon style based on a vintage 80s video game I use to play.
I'd love to hear your thoughts. On this little animation test. Thank you for your eyeball. Duane :)

I have this box of 70s 8-Track cassettes tapes I inherited many years back that I held on to with the notion that one day I would use to repurpose them for some video project. Actually at the very end of this short video is a small clip of me trying to bust the cassettes apart.
This is the first of 3 Landspeeders I made. The main body is a Joni Mitchell 8-Track the album "Court and Spark. Originally I had the idea of whatever the musician and the album title that would influence the hovercraft's aesthetic. So I kept the original colour scheme of the "Court and Spark" album and gave the Hovercraft the nick name "SPARK"
Thanks for watching my short video and hope you enjoy!

The past few years I've been making lo-fi sci-fi props and spaceships out of junk and plastic containers I've rescued from recycling bins.
I am a huge fan of retro sci-fi and fantasy movies and art. I just adore lo-fi and B-movies, mostly from the 80s and 70s but still enjoy the 60s, 50s and 40s. I love the look of UFO's dangling on a string, papier-mâché worlds and cheap practical special FX.
More cheap lo-fi sci-fi props coming soon

My first 3D compositing test with actor footage using After Effects and Element 3D.
This is Henry, a Repo-Cyborg who works for Cyber Cyber Parts Ltd. Behind him are his thugs, 2 PMEUs, Pentagrammic Magnetic Extraction Units. If needed they will forcefully repossess any unpaid cybernetic parts by magnetic extraction, ripping them from flesh and bone if need be.

Exploding Head FX test. Brushing up on FX compositing, not perfect but it'll do. Just a little exercise in motion tracking and compositing with my good friend Phil.

Hyper Gladiator And Mech Operator animation cel.
An animation project I started several years ago but never finished that would have combined traditional animation with rotoscoping.

This is my odd but funny stop motion animation about having conviction, always moving forward every time you fail, fumble and fall. Take a moment to rest then pick yourself the @!#?@! up!
It's not easy to chase your fears and embrace vulnerability. When I make these stop motion videos I get the craziest looks. Sometimes I have to take multiple shots of each move. Imaging seeing for example some random dude in public jumping in the air, contorting their body 3-5 times for every single animated frame. After one move I move forward a little bit for the next captured frame. These usually take me 1-3 hours, shooting somewhere between 4000 - 6000 frames, after which I'm physically exhausted. It takes a lot of humiliation and vulnerability.
Some of these pixilations work, some don't. I build upon these little failures. Everyone of these animations there are many little mistakes but I like that. They become happy accidents and blossom into future ideas and new techniques reveal themselves to me.
