How Koreans Stay Cool in Summer will hopefully provide some useful information on what the locals do to keep their cool and allow you, the traveller, to survive the very hot and humid summer days in South Korea.
This is not an exhoustive list of things but it pretty much encompasses all there is to keep in mind. Staying cool in Korea during summer is tricky business, as days tend to be very humid and it's hard to remain cool while outdoors and away from the moisture sucking airconditioners.

Cross species organ transplantations have been conducted in the USA, and now South Korea is too looking to xenotransplantation as a viable solution to shortages in organ donations.

About me:
I am an Expat with close to a decade and a half of ESL experience. I am the Franchising Director for Shane English Korea based out of Uslan, South Korea and know a thing or two about starting and operating an ESL business. I have also lived in South Korea since 2005, and although far from an authority figure on the cultural intricacies of the South Korea, I have some basic understanding of why things are the way they are, which I hope to share with those willing to listen.
In the Korea Podcast I share news pertaining to life in South Kroea as well as the cryptocurrency market here on the penninsula.
The most recent focus of the podcast has been on interviewing expats who reside in South Kroea and spend their livelihood doing things beyond teaching. With that I hope to bring some insight into the possibilities open to expats living and working in South Korea, beyond teaching.
Over the past 144 episodes, I have had the pleasure of sitting down with some pretty interesting individuals and I hope to continue this for the foreseable future.

Why Korea is Better Than China Responding to Serpentza (2019)
This video was brought on in response to a video by @serpentza https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_2FHnYfzBg which you can see here.
This gave me an opportunity to appreciate the fact that I have never made it to China. Although I am fascinated by worlds geography, the individual pockets of society dwelling within those regions are not always ones that hold my attention.
Korea has a lot to offer in terms of its culture, customs, geographic location and its scenery, and the hospitality afforded by the people. I am probably the last person to close myself off to new experiences, but this is a topic I wanted to include this week.

Busy Life Despite COVID19 in South Korea should almost be an oxymoron, and yet, I find myself to be busier than I was prior to the emergence of Corona Panic. I have had 0 time to edit or even upload a video last week, which is why I skipped even the Monday night's podcast. The saddest week since I started working on the Living Korea channel as over the past two years, I have been posting regularly at least 2 videos each week.
This week I managed to hold the Monday's podcast, which was great as I got to interview a true expat legend here in Korea, if you haven't seen the last podcast with Joe McPherson make sure to check it out.

I hope that things will become a bit easier next week and I will be able to get back into the routine of holding a podcast and at least one upload a week.

Korean BBQ EEL is simply a must try. You grill it and slother it in spicy sauce and end up with two choices. There is also the boiled type which is not Lucy's thing and so that may be something that we may want to try in the future, although like I state in the video, I myself am not too crazy about eel due to the excess of bones during the chewing process.
Cheongsapo, near Haeunde is the place to be when you want to try some bbq eel. I would venture to say that it is the only place to eat it in the South East parts of the peninsual.
Make sure to check out our other food videos from the Korean kichen. You may find something you like.

We are being bombarded with a wide range of information regarding the corona virus issue, and it is important to be smart about what information we choose to consume.
Conspiracies are easily concocted and even easier digested. It is important to be able to think logically about the issues presented by some youtubers and rather than taking what is said at face value, it is important to consider other possibilities.
In this video I briefly talk about why it is important to stay educated on what is happening in regards to the spread of the coronavirus.

In the month of September, we were lucky enough to get a few days of which we took as an opportunity to visit Thailand.
Our last trip was to Malaysia and that is the first traveling video we as a family had the opportunity to film. Although we had been to Thailand many times, we have never had an opportunity to record any of these trips for youtube. So I was really excited about this trip.
This is the first video of our little adventure, departure from Korea and arrival in Thailand. More episodes are to follow so make sure to stay tuned.
