How to Destroy Russia. 2019 Rand Corporation Report: “Overextending and Unbalancing Russia”
https://www.globalresearch.ca/rand-corp-how-destroy-russia/5678456
Force the adversary to expand recklessly in order to unbalance him, and then destroy him. This is not the description of a judo hold, but a plan against Russia elaborated by the Rand Corporation, the most influential think tank in the USA. With a staff of thousands of experts, Rand presents itself as the world’s most reliable source for Intelligence and political analysis for the leaders of the United States and their allies.
The Rand Corp prides itself on having contributed to the elaboration of the long-term strategy which enabled the United States to win the Cold War, by forcing the Soviet Union to consume its own economic resources in the strategic confrontation.
It is this model which was the inspiration for the new plan, Overextending and Unbalancing Russia, published by Rand [1].
According to their analysts, Russia remains a powerful adversary for the United States in certain fundamental sectors. To handle this opposition, the USA and their allies will have to pursue a joint long-term strategy which exploits Russia’s vulnerabilities. So Rand analyses the various means with which to unbalance Russia, indicating for each the probabilities of success, the benefits, the cost, and the risks for the USA.
Rand analysts estimate that Russia’s greatest vulnerability is that of its economy, due to its heavy dependency on oil and gas exports. The income from these exports can be reduced by strengthening sanctions and increasing the energy exports of the United States. The goal is to oblige Europe to diminish its importation of Russian natural gas, and replace it by liquefied natural gas transported by sea from other countries.
Another way of destabilising the Russian economy in the long run is to encourage the emigration of qualified personnel, particularly young Russians with a high level of education.
In the ideological and information sectors, it would be necessary to encourage internal contestation and at the same time, to undermine Russia’s image on the exterior, by excluding it from international forums and boycotting the international sporting events that it organises.
In the geopolitical sector, arming Ukraine would enable the USA to exploit the central point of Russia’s exterior vulnerability, but this would have to be carefully calculated in order to hold Russia under pressure without slipping into a major conflict, which it would win.
In the military sector, the USA could enjoy high benefits, with low costs and risks, by increasing the number of land-based troops from the NATO countries working in an anti-Russian function.
The USA can enjoy high probabilities of success and high benefits, with moderate risks, especially by investing mainly in strategic bombers and long-range attack missiles directed against Russia.
Leaving the INF Treaty and deploying in Europe new intermediate-range nuclear missiles pointed at Russia would lead to high probabilities of success, but would also present high risks.
By calibrating each option to gain the desired effect – conclude the Rand analysts – Russia would end up by paying the hardest price in a confrontation, but the USA would also have to invest huge resources, which would therefore no longer be available for other objectives. This is also prior warning of a coming major increase in USA/NATO military spending, to the disadvantage of social budgets.
This is the future that is planned out for us by the Rand Corporation,

The 2022 Sunday Times Rich List has revealed that billionaire brothers Sri and Gopi Hinduja are the wealthiest people in the UK.
The annual list showed that the pair, who run the Mumbai-based conglomerate Hinduja Group, saw their fortune jump by more than £11 billion.
There were a record 177 billionaires in the UK, according to the figures.
The list featured a number of recognisable figures including Dyson vacuum entrepreneur James Dyson.
However, Roman Abramovich slipped out of the top 20 and fellow Russians Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Fridman dropped down the list after the value of their assets was hammered by financial measures in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
These are the 20 richest people in the UK according to the Rich List:
Sri and Gopi Hinduja and family – £28.47 billion
Sir James Dyson and family – £23 billion
David and Simon Reuben and family – £22.26 billion
Sir Leonard Blavatnik – £20 billion
Guillaume Pousaz – £19.26 billion
Lakshmi Mittal and family – £17 billion
Christoph Henkel and family – £15 billion
Guy, George, Alannah and Galen Weston and family – £13.5 billion
Kirsten and Jorn Rausing – £12 billion
Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken and Michel de Carvalho – £11.42 billion
Michael Platt – £10 billion
Alisher Usmanov – £10 billion
The Duke of Westminster and the Grosvenor family – £9.73 billion
Barnaby and Merlin Swire and family – £9.6 billion
Marit, Lisbet, Sigrid and Hans Rausing – £9.49 billion
Anil Agarwal – £9.2 billion
Denise, John and Peter Coates – £8.64 billion
John Fredriksen and family – £8.31 billion
Mikhail Fridman – £8.22 billion
Moshe Kantor – £8 billion
This needs to be repeated again and again because there is so much misleading claptrap talked about this. The nuclear weapons on Ukraine were never, not for one moment, under Ukraine's command and control. They were always under Russia's control. https://patrickarmstrong.ca/2022/03/18/what-i-got-wrong-and-why/

Much of the world is ambivalent about the Ukraine war. Rightly so.
There is a distinct sentiment across Asia, Africa and the Arab world that Europe is throwing itself into a disaster and that the international order itself is crumbling

My mother developed Dementia and was Diagnosed in 2014. It was discovered because she was phoning the Police saying I was stealing from her etc (I was her only son, all we had was each other) This prompted the police to contact the MASH team who contacted SS who contacted the GP. None of them contacted me. Some 11 1/2 months later I discovered carers in mums house on a visit. (I didn't visit often as she was drinking heavily and would be aggressive towards me) The cares contacted SS who contacted me. We met up and in hindsight I knew from the 1st contact something seemed odd. Anyway once I became aware of my mothers condition and as her main carer, I developed a routine that worked well alongside the carers. As I had a business to run during the daytime my routine was as follows.
08.30 a.m. call in give meds make something to eat if she asks. Spend 10-15mins with her.
12.00 p.m. call in check heating on etc make sure food isnt hidden away. Prepare some food if she asks for some, spend 10-15mins with her.
15.00 p.m. call in same checks as before 10-15mins with her.
18.00 p.m. Usual checks spend 30mins with her, chat have a cup of tea, make her something to eat if she ask's.
20.30 p.m. Make hot meal usual checks sit and watch TV 45mins-1hr.
October 2014. This is relevant because I have notes that confirm the SS knew about me in Oct 2014 and said nothing. After two day's with no signs of movement at my mothers house, during my lunchtime call home to let the dogs out I called over to my mothers house. The key was still in the mortise lock, so I had brought two (2) picks from work in an attempt to rotate the key round in order to pop it out and use my key to get in. Whilst I was trying to gain access to my mothers house, I felt a presence behind me. I turned around to see two (2) male Social Workers. They asked me what I was doing, I asked who they were. After the introductions with me explaining what I was trying to achieve and the two (2) male Social Workers explaining to me that they were attending because my mother was calling the police on a regular basis, a suggestion was made by one of the gentlemen to call the police so they could kick down the door. I said I will do that and proceeded to kick the door. My mother awoke and opened the door. I could clearly see she had been on a serious drinking binge. During my time there, I explained to one of the gentlemen about her drinking. Once entry was gained after five (5) minutes, I left to go back to run my business. On another occasion I noticed a police car outside my mothers house. I approached the constable and asked him to contact Social Services for help. See (exhibit.2). (This is a copy of the Social Services notes for confirmation of this event). The reason I have mentioned this/these events is that Social Services were already involved without my knowledge. These two gentlemen were aware of Social Services involvement and did not inform me. It was during this Month that Dr Beddoes was advised to contact the son as he lives in the same road if she could not gain access. Now it is clear that the DASS were aware of my mother since at least October 2014. The G.P. contacted the DASS on diagnosis in February 2014. There seems to be no record from February till October of the DASS involvement, what were the DASS doing during this period? There is also no record of any care provided from October 2014 to March 2015 and no record of any care provided from March 2015 to when she was accepted by Grove House.
February 2015. Around the beginning of February I paid a visit to check on my mother. I didn't call very often as my mother was drinking very heavily and was abusing me to the point that I recorded some of the episodes on my phone and played them back to her when she was sober. I always checked to see if the curtains were moved on a daily basis. One day on a visit to see if my mother was ok, I entered the house and heard voice's. The first word I heard was "respite". I walked down the hallway to the kitchen thinking that the people in there might be cold callers. I entered the kitchen and there were four (4) ladies present. I asked the ladies who they were. They replied "we work for Local Solutions". I asked "what Local Solutions was". The reply was "we are a care company for

Ansarullah leader says Riyadh will be regretful if it misses three-day truce opportunity to end war

The leader of Yemen’s popular Ansarullah resistance movement has urged the Riyadh regime to seize on the movement's announcement of a three-day truce with the Saudi-led coalition to immediately halt all military operations and brutal siege against the impoverished country.
Abdul-Malik al-Houthi made the remarks in a televised speech broadcast live from the Yemeni capital city of Sana’a on Monday afternoon as he addressed clerics and religious scholars ahead of the holy Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.
“There is no chance for the countries waging aggression against Yemen to escape our retaliatory attacks, and get out of the current predicament unless they end the onslaught, lift the all-out blockade and end occupation,” Houthi pointed out.
The Ansarullah chief warned the Saudi-led coalition against losing the opportunity provided by the three-day truce, calling on Saudi Arabia and its allies to agree to a permanent ceasefire. “You will be regretful if you miss the chance,” Houthi said.
Yemen at risk of being ‘forgotten’ as Russia-Ukraine conflict grabs world attention: UN warns
The UN warns that Yemen is at risk of being forgotten as Russia-Ukraine conflict has grabbed the world’s attention.
“We will spare no effort to confront [the Saudi-led] aggression and economic blockade with all available means. We will not allow the siege against Yemen to continue in any way,” the Ansarullah leader highlighted.
“The eighth year of Yemen war started with Operation Breaking the Siege III, which made headlines worldwide. We will fight off the blockade, and God willing will target the aggressor countries until they are forced to lift the siege,” Houthi noted.
On Saturday evening, Chairman of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat announced the suspension of retaliatory missile and drone attacks and all military actions against Saudi Arabia for a period of three days.
“This is a sincere invitation and practical step to rebuild trust and take all the sides from the arena of talks to the arena of acts,” Mashat said.
“And we are ready to turn this declaration into a final and permanent commitment in the event that Saudi Arabia commits to ending the siege and stopping its raids on Yemen once and for all,” he added.
Yemen announces a voluntary three-day-long pause in the country’s retaliatory strikes against Saudi Arabia.
The truce came a day after a wave of drone and missile attacks hit targets across Saudi Arabia.
The spokesman for Yemeni armed forces said in a statement aired by the Arabic-language al-Masirah television network that Yemeni troops had carried out a large-scale offensive, dubbed Operation Breaking the Siege III, against a number of vital and sensitive targets deep inside Saudi Arabia, using domestically-developed ballistic and winged missiles as well as combat drones.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree stated that Yemeni troops and their allies pounded high-value sites in the Saudi capital Riyadh, energy facilities in the strategic Jizan and Najran regions, as well as an Aramco fuel distribution station in the Red Sea port city of Jeddah among others.
Saudi state media also reported a string of drone and rocket attacks by Yemeni forces on targets in the city of Jeddah.
“A number of bomb-laden drones targeted the oil refineries in Ras Tanura and Rabigh, as well as the Aramco oil facilities in Jizan and Najran. A barrage of winged missiles targeted Aramco oil facilities in Jeddah and vital facilities in the Saudi capital Riyadh,” he said.
The spokesman for Yemeni armed forces added that important targets in the southern cities of Dhahran al-Janub, Abha and Khamis Mushait were also hit with a high numbers of ballistic missiles.
Saree highlighted that Yemeni troops will conduct more qualitative strikes with the intent to break the crippling Saudi-led siege, emphasizing they will not hesitate to expand their military operations until the Saudi-led aggression stops and the blockade is completely lifted.
Nick Corbishly on the real Great Reset of central bank digital money (CBDC) – programmable money which you can only spend on certain items – surveillance and end of freedom. Nick Corbishley’s new book ‘Scanned’ (2022) There has been ZERO public debate over any of the transformations we’ve seen at the consumer sharp end of the money system such as the move from cashiers to cashpoints; ending the validity of foreign cheques, the introduction of credit and debit cards; charging fees at cashpoints; moving from card signatures to PINs; the move from PIN to contactless; many retail outlets, bars and transport systems refusing to accept cash; Scanned, how vaccine passports and digital ID will mean the end of privacy and personal freedom: Imagine being physically denied access to your office, business, or livelihood. Imagine being refused entry to a grocery store or being told who you can or cannot sit with at a restaurant. Imagine being barred from a hospital room when you or your family member needs critical care. Unthinkable? Today, these scenarios and worse are happening in “democracies” all over the world, and could be our collective future orchestrated by AI, Big Tech, and state-sponsored apps all in the name of “protecting” public health with vaccine passports. The stakes could not be higher. If you do not have a vaccine passport, you will be prevented from accessing basic services, from earning a living or travelling within your own country. Even if you do have one, you will be exposed to unprecedented levels of government and corporate surveillance, data mining, and behavioural control. In Scanned, investigative journalist Nick Corbishley examines and exposes the lies and overreach that underpin the wholesale erosion of personal freedoms that is happening at an alarming rate. In clear language supported by rigorous research, Corbishley uncovers how the rollout of vaccine passports not only represents an unprecedented violation of privacy and bodily autonomy, but how it perpetuates the idea that a “small” collective sacrifice will allow us to return to normality. If things continue on the current path, Corbishley makes clear, getting back to “normal” is never happening. Put simply, instead of a return to normality, we will see the creation of a starkly different form of existence in which most of us will have virtually no agency over our own lives.

WWII: OPERATION "MARKET GARDEN" ARNHEM 17th-25th SEPTEMBER 1944. Lieutenant William Albert Peter Grose (Known as W.A.P Grose), 1st British Airborne Division: 11th Parachute Battalion, A Company No.2 Platoon, Part of The 4th Parachute Brigade (Nicknamed "The Red Devils") flew from Saltby in one of the 33 C-47's as part of Operation Market Garden landing outside Arnhem on 18th September. The battalion was gradually worn down withdrawing through the city and casualties mounted. A move to gain some high ground to the north was discovered and the battalion was caught in the open and decimated, with only around 150 men left. One of the casualties being the commanding officer Lieutenant Colonel George Lea. The second in command Major Richard Lonsdale now took command of the battalion and the remnants of the 1st, 3rd Parachute and 2nd South Staffords battalions. Forming them into an ad hoc force which became known as Lonsdale Force. They were withdrawn to Oosterbeek where the division was forming a defensive perimeter, digging in on the south eastern side with their right flank on the river. Lonsdale addressed the men before the Germans arrived;"You know as well as I do there are a lot of bloody Germans coming at us. Well, all we can do is to stay here and hang on in the hope that somebody catches us up. We must fight for our lives and stick together. We've fought the Germans before — in North Africa, Sicily, Italy. They weren't good enough for us then, and they're bloody well not good enough for us now. They're up against the finest soldiers in the world. An hour from now you will take up defensive positions north of the road outside. Make certain you dig in well and that your weapons and ammo are in good order. We are getting short of ammo, so when you shoot you shoot to kill. Good luck to you all". The Battalion sustained very heavy casualties, 571 men from his Battalion went in & he was one of only 72 who made it out across the Rhine on 26th Sept 1944. Diana went on to become the biggest star in the world but had been plagued by mental health issues including bulimia.
She was also unhappy in her marriage to Charles and was upset by his continued relationship with Camilla Parker Bowles.
Ultimately, the Wales’s marriage collapsed and the pair officially separated in 1992.
Continuing her activism and support of charities, Diana remained a focus of media and public attention.
Diana tragically died in a car crash in Paris in 1997 along with her boyfriend Dodi Fayed and the car’s driver Henri Paul.
Following her death, the world has never forgotten Diana’s impact - especially not her beloved sons Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.
Featuring interviews with people who had first hand experiences with the iconic royal figure, the documentary prompted quite the reaction from viewers.
