Backyard Jam Sessions - Special Guest: Chris Lololol
Hopefully this is the 1st of many such backyard jam sessions. I got a rare chance to jam with a very good friend on Thursday evening. This is just the opening jam from that session. There will be many more videos to follow. I also, got to jam with a different friend last night, so I have lots of footage already for episode #2 as well. Anyway... Chris is a very multitalented musician who has taught me that less is more. All the notes are telling their own story. We need to try and remember to "give them space" and let them each tell their own part of the story. Less is More!
Sometimes... improv jams don't work out how you had hoped. Sometimes they end up being much more than what you initially expected them to be. This was recording #13 in such an instance where, we got lucky.
This is the continuation of some of the ideas explored months earlier in our [Warm Up Improv Jam](https://lbry.tv/@meattyokra:8/Warm-Up-Improv-Jam:d). In light of recent lessons and insights gained from Chris the night before, I tried to focus on 2 things... slowing it down, and creating space for each note to breathe. The result was an interesting little walkdown progression using only 2 finger chord structures as well as plucking open strings. I like where it was headed... do you?

Working on creating this spooky ukulele (spookulele) chord progression into a *real* song. Got started on it earlier today, so it is very much still a work in progress. Which kinda describes my entire life really. Anyway, I hope you enjoy listening to what I have manage to scrape together so far. Thank you for all of your continued support/views/tips/etc... mostly the support, and I mean that in the traditional sense, although LBRY supports have definitely been a huge benefit to me recently as well. You all know who you are, and I truly appreciate all of your help in making this content become more visable on LBRY. Thank you! ???✊?
The title should do a pretty good job of explaining what to expect here. Random Instrument Jams. This 1st one, with a banjo that I have not touched in like 5 years and do not really know how to play. Enjoy! Thanks for watching.
Hey! ? Remember that time when I posted that awesome [LBC Miner unboxing video](https://odysee.com/@LBRYansUnited:7/Odysee-Moon-Rocks-Jam:9) with the amazing soundtrack? You do? Perfect! Well here are the other 14 minutes of that jam. So, sit back, crack open a beer, and get ready to rock for this completely improv jam session with Meatty Okra, featuring tonight's special guest appearance; Moose Jaw Jenkins Was Heer.
Made a loop on the keyboard of the riff from Interstellar... then played along with it to make up some other cool riffs. Enjoy! More, and better versions to follow.
Note: I am NOT a real drummer... just wait until we bring Jake in to add some actual good drumming to this.
I stumbled onto this one last week while jamming with my niece. She was on piano and myself on the ukulele. So I wanted to try it out with some bass and drums. I am still working on figuring it out (as per usual) so it is not really the complete song at this point. Just bits and pieces of the full song. Enjoy! Thanks for watching.
