I've been playing Fortnite, Apex Legends, Hyper Scape, Spellbreak & Watch Dogs 2 on GeForce Now cloud gaming platform and in this video I share the results. GeForce Now is Nvidia's cloud gaming service that allows you to play games that you already own within Steam, uPlay, Epic and other stores through their platform.
GeForce Now offers a free account that allows you to play one hour at the time of your game of choice before disconnecting you and requiring you to reconnect again. Another thing to consider with free account is that you will have to wait longer in the queues when trying to find the available machine to run your game. There are some other features not available in free version but they are not as important.
I've tested out these games using Ultra settings and wanted to see how good they perform. And to be honest I was pleasantly surprised how these games performed on GeForce Now. It ran smoothly through pretty much whole gameplay & kept 1080p at 60fps constantly. There was one short period where I've had a performance drop when my network went down for a moment but lucky for me it didn't get me killed in-game.
I think cloud gaming has a bright future as our networks are improving, cloud gaming services are getting better and our bandwidth becomes less of a bottleneck.
