Last week, the Aylmer, Ontario town council refused to fly the generally accepted Christian flag on the public flagpole. They have flown many different flags upon request, including most recently the rainbow flag. When a request was made to fly the Christian flag, they deferred the request and unanimously voted to first come up with a new flag policy. I don't think flags are all that important, but this is a shameful decision and this morning I decided that if they won't fly it, then I will. We're Christians and we are here, too! Why are you singling us out for illegal discrimination?
