Once there was a young prince whose father, the king of the East, sent him down into Egypt to find a pearl. But when the prince arrived, the people poured him a cup. Drinking it, he forgot he was the son of a king, forgot about the pearl and fell into a deep sleep.
This is the soul story of Knight of Cups. And I must say, that little glams of soundtrack boomed me away. So I chose this to make a synopsis of my next project "Journey of the Descendants". I Dint even started, and I dont know what I am gonna make, But this film will remain in my heart as hell that awesome feeling.

Durgapur Highway NH2 is the favourite route of highspeed superbikers. This huge one way road which connects to Delhi is ideal for gear up and make a boom in the silencer.
On sunday morning if you just catch up the road at like 6 am and have a breakfast at Azad Hind Dhaba you will surely met Harleys, BMW's, Ninzas.
I thought why not catch'em up. I shoot the whole thing holding the action cam in my teeth. I lost my helmet rig recently. I request not to do this practice.
Thanx. Enjoy.

Kolkata Rainbow Pride Walk is held with the intention of making a political statement for Equality, Tolerance, Love and Solidarity. The walk is held to strengthen the voice for equality for all – irrespective of gender, sexuality, religion, etc. The participants walk in solidarity with all rights based movements, Child rights, Women's rights, Dalit rights, Rights of the Disabled/differently-abled, students groups, and others.
At the core of the ‘Kolkata Rainbow Pride Walk’ initiative is the message that the march is not a call for special rights for queer people. It is simply about the human rights of queer people – human rights for one and all!

Kolkata’s Landfill Crisis: The City’s Dependency On The Sole Landfill Of Dhapa May Soon Result In An Unresolvable Crisis. At Kolkata’s sole landfill, more than 4,000 metric tonnes of waste go in every day, despite the landfill's lifespan being over decades ago.
Dhapa began to function as a landfill during British Rule in India
The landfill has reached a height of above 50 feet
The landfill area is also home to more than 30,000 people.
Is There A Way Out For Dhapa?
Recently it was announced that the KMC would provide tax rebates to those who segregate and compost waste in their residences. This announcement was made to lessen the amount of daily garbage generated by the city, which would translate to less garbage transported to the landfill. But this does not translate into a long term solution as firstly the KMC is yet to come up with a concrete plan on the tax incentives initiative, and secondly participation related to segregating and composting alone cannot be expected to reduce a city’s daily garbage generation.
The existing amount of garbage in Dhapa must be cleared out using scientific process and treated simultaneously. Though time consuming, the process will ensure smooth clearance of the heaps of garbage. As recommended by the external agencies, the KMC can identify small temporary spots for garbage disposal. It is also highly important that the whole landfill is reconstructed using scientific methods such as base made of clay, drainage layers constructed of soil and vegetative layers to minimise soil erosion. Kolkata’s dependency on Dhapa cannot be questioned but to avoid a repetition of last week’s incident at Ghazipur, the civic body and the state government must act and act fast to save not only the city’s waste scenario, but thousands of Dhapa’s residents as well.

Close to 70% per cent of Indian women risk getting severe infection, at times causing death, due to poverty, ignorance and shame attached to their menstruation cycle.
The silence and shame around the menstrual cycle has caused severe problems for girls. In a survey conducted in 2011, it was revealed that in north India, over 30% of the girls interviewed dropped out of school after they start menstruating. Reproductive tract infections (RTI) were 70% more common among women who were unable to maintain hygiene during their menstrual cycle. This kind of cultural neglect of menstrual hygiene is reflected in policies as well because a larger number of adolescent girls (between 12-18 years of age) miss five days of school due to lack of toilets for girls.
Taboo around menstruation has started to be seen as a threat to health and many people are willing to break this silence. In the exploration of the origins and basis of menstrual taboo, we have looked at the perception of menstrual cycle in different cultures and religions. The root of almost every perception seems to be patriarchy.

There is a shortage of 18.78 million houses in the country. Total number of houses has increased from 52.06 million to 78.48 million(as per 2011 census). The rise, he said, has "happened because of the liberal loan given by the banks. The census figures of 2011 show that in total India has 78.87 million households in the country against which it has 78.48 million houses which means there is a shortage of just 0.39 million houses in the entire urban area. .
However, it still ranks as the 124th wealthiest country in the world as of 2003. More than 90 million people in India make less than $1 USD per day, thus setting them below the global poverty threshold. The ability of the Government of India to tackle urban homelessness and poverty may be affected in the future by both external and internal factors. The number of people living in slums in India has more than doubled in the past two decades and now exceeds the entire population of Britain, the Indian Government has announced. The number of people living in slums is projected to rise to 93 million in 2011 or 7.75 percent of the total population almost double the population of Britain. Prior to the release of Slumdog Millionaire in 2008, Mumbai was a slum tourist destination for slumming where homeless people and slum dwellers alike could be openly viewed by tourists.

Human rights abuses in the Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir state are an ongoing issue. The abuses range from mass killings, enforced disappearances, torture, rape and sexual abuse to political repression and suppression of freedom of speech. The Indian Army, central reserve police force, border security personnel and various separatist militant groups have been accused and held accountable for committing severe human rights abuses against Kashmiri civilians. Revised figures from Indian sources state the number of civilians killed due to the Kashmiri insurgency has been estimated to range from 16,725 to 47,000 civilians while 3,642 civilians were killed by security forces . India accuses the Pakistan Army for abusing human rights in Jammu and Kashmir by violating ceasefire and keep on killing Kashmiri civilians,a claim which is totally rejected by Pakistan who blames Indian army for the violation of LoC. Diplomatic cables obtained by WikiLeaks revealed that the ICRC had briefed US officials in Delhi in 2005 about the use of torture from 2002–2004 by security forces against hundreds of detainees suspected of being connected to or having information about militants
