After having realized how much he screwed up, Lan now works to set things right. So using the EnergyChange, he converts Water battlechips to quell the flames. After quelling all the flames in every area, Mr. Match is impressed and wants to face off with Megaman. So the two head for the Undernet. But as they do so, something is off. Very off. Eventually they reach FlameMan and Lan is so determined to take Mr. Match down. FlameMan is a tough foe due to the candles in back of him. When they light green, he is invincible. When it's orange, two projectiles appear to attack. When it's red, he regains health. Take out the candles then take down FlameMan. But that's the least of their problems. FlameMan is ready to finish off Megaman when from out of nowhere, Bass shows up. The REAL Bass. He obliterates FlameMan then takes on Megaman. Don't worry. It's scripted. Bass is ready to finish Mega until a Navi shows up ready to fight him. He packs a DarkAura and despite this, he puts up a serious fight. Bass departs, realizing that something more important is abound. As for the Navi, it's operator helps Megaman get out of there. But after that mess (as well as SciLab returning to normal), Lan feels down. He feels hurt that his own actions caused this situation. So what to do. This game takes place after the events of Metroid Fusion and now Samus is heading off to a strange new location, ZDR. What she finds is trouble. A whole lot of it. Much of this game is focused on exploration but you'll have to deal with a lot of threats such as the E.M.M.I. These guys are the very definition of Dread and the worst part is that you don't have the power to take them down. All you can do is hide and evade. It isn't until you get your hands on the Omega Blaster that you can take the fight to them. The only drawback is that once you take it down, you lose that privilege. He becomes the Great Saiyaman. It's also here where we meet Goten, Goku and Chi Chi's second child, born after the Cell Games. He is the son Goku never got to see. Don't worry. He will later.
