Between Dad and I, we have around three acres to mow. The ground was getting rough to mow, so you had to mow slow. We decided to try our hand at tilling the ground up again and planting new grass seed.
We used a total for four bags of Grass seed and four bags of grass fertilizer after attempting to level the ground with different drags. The final end result was not bad at all and the rains came at the right time to keep the seed wet and growing.
Now that I am retired, I just might show my life and some of the towns around me. I enjoy working on Cuckoo Clocks and clocks in general, How to repair vacuums, fans and things form the thrift stores, besides the thrift store finds, and working on houses. Time Lapse, Bird & Sky watching along with gardening. Helping my Dad with things he loved to do, along with taking dad and his wife to breakfast.
My Brother and Dad, live on the same Dead End Road and yea, maybe we just might get into trouble a little, but have fun doing it. It is time to start smelling the Roses on the way instead of looking at them and passing them by.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not sucring the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were layed to rest out in the garage or barn and I ecsept the challange of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.

Total Remodel of Roy's Old House. The siding is getting changed to Hardiplank Siding and we are fixing the Dry Rot and Termite damage as we go. This house was added on several times and years ago someone put block foundation under this house with no Ventilation so the humidity could not escape and just invited termites and dry rot.

This clock never ran. The owners that bought the clock, didn't have it in them to understand the instructions. The clock ended up with some damage from mishandling the clock. Even the Bellow Clips were still on the Bellows, besides the wire that held the chains from falling off the gears.

Today I am working on a vintage Electric LUX Calendar clock. The person I bought this clock from said the clock worked but could not change the date. I take the clock apart to find the ribbon with the number days came apart. Cleaned, oiled and fix the clock and ready to hang on the wall.
