Do Christians Keep The Sabbath?
Christians have debated for centuries about whether or not they need to observe the Sabbath. Some argue that the Sabbath is a commandment from God and should be followed as such. They believe that by setting aside one day a week for rest and worship, they are honoring God's commandments and showing their dedication to Him. Additionally, they point to the fact that Jesus observed the Sabbath and taught about its importance. On the other hand, some Christians believe that the Sabbath was a part of the Old Testament law that was fulfilled in Christ. They argue that since Jesus' death and resurrection, Christians are no longer bound by the laws of the Old Testament, including the command to observe the Sabbath. Instead, they believe that Christians are called to worship and rest in Christ every day, not just on one specific day of the week. Ultimately, the decision to observe the Sabbath is a personal one, and Christians should prayerfully consider their beliefs and convictions on the matter. It's important to remember that the Bible encourages us to not judge others based on their observance of days (Romans 14:5-6), and that the most important thing is to honor God and seek His will in all things.

We shed light on the false teachings of the Orthodox Church. Through biblical examination, we will confront three key doctrines that have raised concerns among believers. Let us journey together as we challenge these teachings and seek the truth.
Intercession of Saints: The Orthodox Church promotes the practice of seeking intercession from saints, but the Bible clearly states that there is only one mediator between God and humanity: Jesus Christ. Our faith should rely solely on Him as our advocate and intercessor.
Veneration of Icons: In the Orthodox Church, icons hold a place of high reverence. However, the Bible explicitly warns against the worship of graven images. We should focus on worshiping God alone and not place undue importance on physical representations.
Prayers for the Dead: The Orthodox Church encourages prayers for the souls of the departed, yet the Bible teaches that after death comes judgment. Our prayers should be directed towards the living, seeking God's guidance and grace in our present lives.
As believers, it is essential to examine teachings in light of the Scriptures. By questioning the intercession of saints, veneration of icons, and prayers for the dead, we strive to align ourselves with the true teachings of the Bible. Join us in this quest for truth, as we navigate through the complexities of the Orthodox Church's teachings.

How to Surrender and Let Jesus Take Control of Your Life
Making the decision to surrender your life to Jesus Christ can be both difficult and rewarding. It requires humility, trust, and a willingness to submit to God's will rather than your own. Here are some tips on fully giving your life over to Christ:
Examine your heart. Spend time in prayer and reflection, considering where you are resisting God's leadership or holding onto control. What fears, doubts, sins, or worldly attachments may be preventing you from fully trusting Him? Bring these honestly before God.
Confess and repent. Admit the areas, both large and small, where you have failed to put God first. Repentance clears the way for the Lord to work in you. Ask for forgiveness and determine to walk in Christ's ways going forward.
Surrender your plans. One huge aspect of surrender is giving up your ideas, dreams and desired outcomes for your life. Lay down what you think is best and take up God's perfect design instead. Say along with Jesus, “Not my will but Yours be done.”
Daily renew your commitment. Surrender is not a one-time choice but a daily practice. Every morning, begin by offering yourself and your decisions afresh to Jesus’ control and direction. Maintain an attitude of trust in His working.
Obey joyfully. As you let Christ lead, seek to follow His commands and guidance with joy and gratitude. Obedience demonstrates the sincerity of your surrender. It will lead to increasing freedom and fruitfulness.
The life yielded to Jesus is an adventure beyond anything we could imagine. By His grace, determine each day to surrender and know His best for you.

Do you ever feel like your prayers just hit the ceiling? If you find yourself struggling with unanswered prayers, this video is for you. I'm going to share seven of the most common reasons why prayers get hindered on their way to God.
We’ll explore how unconfessed sin erects a barrier between us and God, preventing Him from hearing our petitions. The solution? Repentance and asking for forgiveness. We’ll also discuss how doubt and lack of faith can make our prayers ineffective, like a wave tossed in the sea. Growing our faith through spiritual practices is key.
Additionally, we’ll take a closer look at the role of motives and alignment with God's will. Asking for selfish ends or making requests outside of His plan won't get us very far. The fix? Bringing our desires into alignment with His purposes. We'll also discuss the importance of perseverance, praying in Jesus' name, and cultivating gratitude.
My goal is that through a clear understanding of these seven prayer blockers, you’ll gain insight into why some of your petitions may have gone unanswered. With practical, biblical wisdom, you’ll be able to break through hindrances, grow closer to God and experience more powerful and effective prayer.
