Former Minneapolis, Minnesota killer-cop Derek Chauvin murdered George Floyd on Memorial Day, May 25th, around 8 PM. The next day, protests began.
The black police chief fired Chauvin and his 3 accomplice cops on May 26th, to try and pacify the public. Two of the cops had records of vicious brutality and violence going back years. The chief had no problem with this until now. Nor did the chief have the killers interrogated, didn't investigate what they did, didn't arrest them. [However, police in Minnesota have no trouble arresting reporters. The State Police arrested a CNN crew for no reason whatsoever- the Governor subsequently "apologizes" for this blatant violation of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Amy Goodman of Democracy Now! and her producers were arrested in St. Paul, Minnesota, at the Republican National Convention in 2008, where journalists were "systematically targeted."] [1]
For three days, protesters' demands that the murderous cops be arrested were resisted by "the authorities." In response to these demands, the Hennepin County Attorney, Michael Freeman, talked as if he was a defense lawyer for the killers, saying "There is other evidence that does not support a criminal charge." This was on May 28th.
Freeman having thus signaled that the killers would get away scot-free, that evening angry people burned down a hastily-vacated police station.
The very next day, May 29th, at 1 PM, Freeman called a press conference to announce that all of a sudden he had evidence to arrest Chauvin- but only Chauvin. The charges were mild- 3rd degree murder, meaning Chauvin didn't intend to kill, and 2nd degree manslaughter. As Chauvin applied a lethal move on his victim, using his knee to cut off blood flow to the brain and continuing to apply pressure for minutes after Floyd became unconscious, there was clear intent. Bystanders were yelling at Chauvin to stop, and he ignored them.
Freeman didn't even have the paperwork completed when he rushed to make this announcement. He pretended it had nothing to do with trying to quell the unrest. He made a series of boasts that he is apparently too stupid tor realize were actually damning: That this was so much faster than how long it took him to bring charges against another murderous cop, Mohamed Noor, a dark-skinned Muslim who murdered a white woman, Justine Damond. Damond had called the police, and when she walked up to Noor's police car, he shot her dead from inside his car, apparently on a murderous impulse. Freeman stalled for a year before finally bringing reduced charges against Noor. (In most cases, prosecutors overcharge defendants. On the rare occasions when they're forced to charge police, they always undercharge.)
Freeman also took the opportunity of his press briefing to brag

In the modern age of democracy and volunteer armies, a pretense for war is required to rally the nation around the flag and motivate the public to fight. That is why every major conflict is now accompanied by its own particular bodyguard of lies. From false flag attacks to dehumanization of the "enemy," here are all the examples you'll need to help debunk a century of war lies.
