That one Scooby-Doo Deleted Scene that NOBODY talks about - An Analysis
“Daphne’s Spirit Thingy” is a scene that was made for the live action Scooby-Doo film in 2002. It ultimately wound up being deleted from the movie for presumably multiple reasons, one of them being that it was too scary for younger members of the initial test audiences, according to director Raja Gosnell. Because of the removal of this scene, a lot of people in the Scooby-Doo fandom don’t really talk about it, since you would’ve had to purchase the DVD, or VHS editions of the film in order to actually see it.
It might be a good thing that kids never got to see one of the arguably darker moments of the Scooby franchise, but I certainly think it's worth diving into the significance of it.
We take a break from the regularly scheduled 'Take A Chance' program to give you a bunch of rejected candy bar commercials that were too risky to be aired on television. Thankfully these have a place on the internet!

Recently the series "Supernatural" has done a crossover with Scooby Doo, which itself is set in one of the old episodes, "A Night of Fright is No Delight". There were quite a few references, and perfect recreations that were executed in the crossover, and I've done some editing to time them as close to the original source material as best as I could.
Scooby Doo is property of Warner Bros.
Supernatural owned by Eric Kripke, and Warner Bros.
I own nothing.

Sketcher returns to the reaction chair to check out the highly anticipated "MYSTERY INCORPORATED" fan series by Dade Elza and Jessica Chancellor, with direction by Dante Yore. This series hopes to completely reimagine the universe for the entire Scooby-Doo franchise as a whole in the same vein that the live action movies did, but much more in tune with something like "Riverdale", or "Supernatural". Does the pilot live up to it's hype built over two years of waiting? Let's find out!

For the last day of Anime Los Angeles 2023, I had the honor of being the videographer for the last photoshoot of the entire convention centered on, you guessed it, The Owl House! As you can imagine, it wasn't THAT big of a turn out since it was the last couple hours before the con closed, so everybody was ready to go home, but for what we had? I'm glad everybody still came out!
Hosted by the awesome purpletomato.cos on Instagram, I hope I get to work with them again if I'm ever back out in California!

Trying my hand at recreating a classic scene with Grif and Simmons on top of Red Base. There'll probably be more of these down the line if I ever feel like doing them.
Audio is taken from Red Vs. Blue - Episode 1: Why are We Here?
Animation is done by me.
I don't own these characters in any way. Burnie Burns, and the company Rooster Teeth does. This is simply for fun.

One year ago today, I released a video discussing a deleted scene from the 2002 live action filmed based on "Scooby-Doo", so starting from today onward, I will be diving into the other deleted scenes that came with the movie, starting with the scrapped opening that was supposed to be fully animated like the original cartoon!
