Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, New York saw a surge of deaths, at least 13 people passed away from Covid-19 in 24 hours.

Mac’s Public House on Staten Island was shut down by NYC Sheriff’s tonight after it defied Governor Cuomo’s rules and declared the bar "Autonomous Zone".
In recent days, the bar owner announced that everything will be free and they will be accepting donations.
Tonight, a small crowd of people gathered to protest outside.
According to Scott LoBaido the owner was also charged with a 5,000usd fine.

July 08, 2022 | Queens, NY: Police report shooting at a suspect after he opened fire, following a threat to “Blow Up” the World. Just around 6pm, NYPD officers were called to 205-17 116th Avenue in Queens where they say they received a threat.
Suspect, who was shot by police after opening fire, was allegedly threatening to kill NY Governor Hochul and other officials, saying he will “blow up” the world.
The alleged suspect was left critically wounded, according to officials. Police officers were not wounded.
The officer involved was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation but no officer was struck by gunfire during the exchange
