This is Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade for the PlayStation 5. For this gameplay series the Graphics Settings is set to Performance mode. This mode prioritizes maintaining a 60-fps framerate.
Difficulty is set to Normal since that's the highest difficulty that can be selected on a brand new save. I thought about transferring my PS4 save, but I wanted to unlock all the trophies one by one instead of having them all instantly unlocked.
Final Fantasy VII Remake was one of my favorite games on PlayStation 4, and I'm very excited to replay it on PlayStation 5 in 60fps. I hope you enjoy this gameplay series.

FFXIV has an unlocked frame rate on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro. On PS4 Pro, the resolution was set to 1080p while targeting 60fps. If you've played this game on PS4, you know it never really hit 60fps. The frame rate would go anywhere from 25 to 45 fps in most cases.
On PS4 Pro, you can play this game in 1080p or 1440p. If you played in 1080p on PS4 Pro, you had a better chance of reaching 60fps. That being said, the game could still drop into the 40s depending on how dense an area was or what was going on in combat.. If you chose to play in 1440p, the game would look better, but you'd get a similar frame rate as you would playing in 1080p on PS4. You can change the draw distance, which will improve frame rate, but not by much. You might see a 3-4 fps improvement, if that.
For this video, I'm running the game at 1080p with draw distance set to high. I would try running it in 1440p, but my display is a 1080p display and for whatever reason Sony doesn't have a Supersampling Mode on PS5 like they do on PS4 Pro. I'm still surprised by that. Anyway, the game runs at a smooth 60fps even with the draw distance set to high. Even with a bunch of people around the frame rate doesn't ever seem to drop below 60fps. A game like this may not need the frame rate to be so high, but it sure looks nice.

I may have started playing Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, but that doesn't mean I'll stop playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2. I need to finish up my new game plus run.
