Check part 2! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQrUS-qsvYI This medley includes tracks from Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse (悪魔城伝説 Akumajō Densetsu: - Prelude - Prayer - Beginning Castlevania 3 is one of the most iconic games of the series especially for his soundtrack. What's notable is that the original NES cartridge contains a dedicated audio chip, the VRC6, that adds extra audio voices offering to the composers more space for creativity and expression. With more voices in fact, in an environment without sound effects, it is possible, for example, to play at the same time 2 copies of the same melody with the second one slightly offset of few milliseconds, creating this way a delay and more wide sound. In this little medley I play with the guitar the same melodies that the audio chip is doing. While working on that I was listening to the single game tracks separately and I was completely blown away from all the work on the clever arrangement that fit together perfectly like Tetris pieces :D There are from the 2 to 8 guitars used for this project so I had to split the Cubase project in 3 in order to avoid performance issues. One file contains just the raw guitar recordings, another all the used MIDI and the last one the final mix with all the bounced audio from the previous projects.
