Five former Mississippi daycare workers have been slapped with child-abuse charges after a viral video showed a staffer scaring a bunch of children while wearing a “Scream”-style mask. Workers at Lil’ Blessings Child Care & Learning Center in Hamilton were trying to put a scare into some kids who they thought had been “bad,” a whistleblower said in a Facebook post. The troubling clip prompted the state Department of Health and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office to launch an investigation, which ended in five people being charged. Former employees Sierra McCandless, Oci-Anna Kilburn, Jennifer Newman and Shyenne Shelton were each charged with three counts of felony child abuse, WTVA reported.
