Internal Resistance Check of LittoKala Lii-300 Battery Charger
When I reviewed this battery charger, I questioned whether the cell internal resistance check was reliable. I tested a range of Li-Ion cells, from eBay cheapies to quality protected cells, but I didn't test any quality unprotected cells. The results were all high internal resistance of around 125 milliohms. I was half expecting this controller to be real MPPT - or at least have an inductor and do a modest amount of DC/DC conversion. But no, it's an out-and-out fake, a fraud, a con, a rip-off. It looks like a PWM controller though, so it's worth checking how well it works.

Using the ACS712 current sensor to measure current in a circuit. Benefits are that it can measure current in the high side of the circuit, adds just 1.2 milliohms to the cuicuit to be measured and includes all the amplification electronics on chip.
