And that is the widespread neglect and lack of understanding of our immune system — both our innate immune system and our ability to control and strengthen immunity through what we eat and our lifestyle.
My guest today is Dr Mike Roizen, a passionate advocate of taking control of our immune system and understanding how to strengthen it. Based in the US, he initiated and developed the RealAge concept to motivate behaviour change around this topic, served as Cleveland Clinic's first Chief Wellness Officer from 2007 to 2019, and is the clinic’s founding Chair of its Wellness Institute.
He has authored more than 190 peer-reviewed scientific publications, four New York Times number 1 best sellers, and has recently written a book called ‘What To Eat When: A Strategic Plan To Improve Your Health and Life through Food’.

Scientists continue to caution that the covid pandemic is not over given a resurgence in cases sweeping the UK with infections in over-70s at a record high
However, now with the media's attention elsewhere, the UK government has finally opened a consultation on the terms of reference for the UK Covid-19 Public Inquiry and the WHO has begun a process to develop a Pandemic Preparedness Treaty for future pandemics.
In this episode, I ponder what this all means and explore the initial limitations of the public inquiry framework in the UK.

Once a Marxist, now a fully paid-up libertarian and peer of the realm, my guest today is no stranger to controversy.
Claire Fox — Baroness Fox of Buckley — was for 20 years a member of the Revolutionary Communist Party and became something of a media star on the back of the group’s hugely unpopular and uncompromising position on the Provisional IRA.
She’s never exactly apologised — attracting fresh flak on her appointment to the Lords last year — and she also rattled the bars of the Establishment cage when in 2019 she stood for Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party in the European elections, ending up as a list MEP in the process.
Never one to keep her counsel, she’s already spoken in the Lords multiple times and brings her overarching belief in freedom of choice to all aspects of the Covid debate — including the care home mandate and vaccination passports.

Can the psychological tactics the Government and mainstream media have used over the past 18 months — and continue to use — ever be justified in the sphere of public health?
My guest today is Dr Gary Sidley, a retired clinical psychologist with over 30 years experience working for the NHS. An outspoken critic of the Government’s coercive handling of the pandemic, he questions the ethics behind the covert psychological tactics driven by the SPI-B team at SAGE and seemingly with the blessing of the British Psychological Society.
He argues that in the UK we have not been told that a deliberate, emotionally-charged campaign of fear, shame, and peer pressure has been purposefully used against us to gain our compliance for non-evidenced public health strategies such as lockdowns and mask mandates.
