This is a battle we literally threw together at the last minute as you may have guessed. Blue has not played the game for over a month and as such, doesn't really have a team. Ultimately, we scrambled to give him some guys from raids that had good stats, but there was no cohesion or strategy here.
One of the things I didn't know about how the multi-battles work is that it alternates on who can Dynamax, which makes things more complicated than normal. It also seems that even after your partner is eliminated, it can be locked away for a turn due to lazy programming. If we ever try this again, it will be after Blue trains a team and we actually see some of the minor details in how this works.
There is not too much to say since this is something literally thrown together in minutes. The main thing we learned is that docking the Switch will disrupt the connection ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQIOVvN_xYU
I am not sure if this segment glitches or what happens exactly. You cannot save during the puzzle rooms and I did not make a quick save or something around the battle to go back and try it again. The premise is that Lynn is deciphering a crystal and you need to protect her from the drones. Said drones are melee units, so they will rush you. Phoenix is more dangerous than them, but they are spread out enough to make things a little difficult for Icari.
After the first wave dies, a second wave will spawn. I don't know if it is time based or what, but PACT arrives, but I may have completed the mission objective before they were supposed to arrive, so we get the scene and the battle immediately ends. We get credit for killing the PACT units, so I am not sure what exactly happened there. The only thing that I can conclude is that it literally pays here to be this lethal.

With Blastoise outclassing all other defenders atm, I really don't want to play them. As such, I've moved away from Slowbro and Snorlax for now and am focusing on attackers, specifically the ability variety. Currently, I own three of them, and once I pick up Pikachu, I will have all four.
As for the games themselves, this was Sunday night going into Labor Day, so I assume everyone was either drunk or stoned. Regardless, they were compromised enough for me to play some major roles in the games without getting punished. Once my snowball is rolling, I just have to keep the pressure up to secure the win and offset the garbage junglers I've had recently.

We now have access to the north, so what better way to celebrate than to go open the monster chests we've been holding off on? With some nasty fights coming up, there are a few elements I want, but sadly, water is the most difficult one to get and will need to wait.
Beyond this, we make our way through a heavily booby trapped tunnel to arrive at Mainz where we get to fight some Red Constellation goons before reinforcements arrive to force them out. With this, another area is liberated.

With the Reverie Corridor behind us, we enter the Ancient Battlefield and make our way to the Sun Temple where the climax plays out. We are forced to cut through Heiyue thugs, and have a finale against two old enemies teaming up that even has a time limit restriction to go with it. Can't ever catch a break I tell you.

These are the final quests that appear in Chapter 4, with extermination missions sending you to all of the towers with bells. The enemies here are a tad stronger than what we've encountered so far, but are fairly weak compared to what is coming in the next video, so hopefully they don't give you too much trouble.
With this last bit of DP, we are getting in position for the final missions of the game (like the cooking quest) so we can claim the top rank and the achievement points that come with it. So yes, this is the second to last quest video as the end quickly approaches.

We were given a mission and the time has come for us to complete it. This final area is exclusive to T260, so we need to make sure to swipe everything while we are there. Sadly, you cannot keep the chassis you find, but the default for T260 is more than enough. There are other optional things we can do, but I believe the team to be strong enough as is, so we will leave those for the other characters, especially since some of them have story segments for those areas.
Overall, it may be best to not start with T260 due to the difficulty of the boss, but now that we have it out of the way, the other characters should be smooth sailing, right? It's not like we'll ever need to fight this boss again in some other mode where it is even more powerful, right?

This isn't really that difficult of a map. The trick here is the laser, which makes it a little difficult to progress, but if you line things up, you can move normally. Once you get across the river, you can seize the base and everything is pretty much back to normal. You have the option to ignore the laser entirely afterward as it limits the moves she can make in the south. I opt to smash it and get a missile in place so I can nab the airport. With that, there is no coming back for her.
You also have the option of ignoring the airport and just smashing into her HQ and seizing it. The trick to this would be getting your super while saving money here and there, then cutting loose with a high damage Power of Money to obliterate her defenses. It might be a little funnier to do the latter, but I went with the safe strategy that should work almost every time.

Last time we were just a little too weak to go the entire distance. However, with all of the EXP we racked up in the previous attempt, surely this time around it will go different right?
Sadly, I didn't think about the X Speed thing until after the fight, but it may have been a little anti-climatic for Gardevoir to obliterate Cynthia. We'll say we went the route we did for drama.

With the big twist of this case already revealed, we need to find out how we got onto the opposite side in the first place. This starts off with a ball where we get to meet a lot more of the nobility and even get to learn about some more of the world's magic. We get to see Ruby handling a case without us, and surely nothing horrible will happen while we enjoy ourselves...
