Simple Zone Wars is a map featuring two different areas for players to battle. When there are four players or more, there's a 50% chance the game will prompt all players to select a team through a pop-up prompt.
At the start, players may emote to reroll their randomized loadouts, and enter the teleporter when ready. A 15-second timer automatically teleports players out of spawn if they wait too long.
During gameplay, players encounter varying hazards, including boulders, falling trees and even terrain height. As well, a player is automatically granted consumables and bouncers as the match progresses. To endure the chaos, players have a 25-point overshield, along with a shield which rapidly regenerates after three seconds from damage.
When a player is knocked, a three-second timer begins upon which, if they are not killed, they are self-revived to full health and shield. This self-revive mechanic is disabled when the storm fully closes in.
