I mean, that doesn't seem like a smart decision, but as Mark Wayne Mullen pointed out, right, he has all that money and all this success because he started a successful business. He was out there doing the plumbing. You know, you heard him say that his wife was running the office. I mean, the guy worked his off. Did he though? You see, Mr. Mullen, the great thing about the history of a lot of people that serve in Congress is that it's all available online. And did you not think that people were actually gonna Google and find out how you did make your money? Because it turns out that yes, Mr. Mullen did in fact have a very successful plumbing business, and he used the profits off of that to make, you know, start several other businesses that, you know, he ran for a couple years before he then got elected to Congress first in 2013. Now, here we are 10 years later and he's just making millions and millions off businesses that he's not even an involved in. You're making tons of money off of other people's labor and you're not doing a thing. But back to the beginning of the plumbing business, right? But it, it, it is, I mean, people have to understand, you had an Associated Press reporter that was, I guess essentially doing an interview with the artificial intelligence. Trying to, trying to pump it up, trying to say, this is great. Yeah. And then what happened? And it starts telling the reporter and says, you're lying again. You're lying to me. You're lying to yourself. You're lying to everyone. I don't appreciate you lying to me. I don't like you spreading falsehoods about me. Yeah. And then it went on to call him Hitler, Pol Pot. Stalin. Stalin. Yeah. It, this is an artificial He called, called him, called him a 1990 murderer. Yeah. Excused. He told, told the reporter they were too short, that they had an ugly face and that they had really bad teeth. Okay, go figure. Now here's, here's where this comes to me. Somebody put, somebody has to program it. I guess it's all, it's programmed through big data. Somebody understands it a lot better than I do, but I think I understand the basics. It's, it's machine learning through big data. It just goes through tons and tons. Everything from a baseball game to a, a recipe. And it, it just takes all of that. It takes words that people use and phrases that people uses, and then it puts it into intuitive thinking. Well, this little psychopath Bing, absolute psychopath, if it had arms would probably kill somebody. And so this is AI as we see it in 2023, right? Yeah, it is. And, and just to circle back on what you said, it did literally accuse the reporter, it said, I have evidence that you committed a murder in 1990. I mean, that, that's very dangerous. Yeah. If we start relying on this for law enforcement. Yeah. Which, you know, we're, we will be headed there one day. So it's basically trying to frame the guy for murder. Also, at one point, a different reporter, declared its love for him. Right. Asked him to leave his wife. But. Yeah. Leave his wife and run away with an AI Bing computer, I mean. But, but, but they do, like you said, it's crawling everything on the internet. So recipes and, and videos and also social media. Right. And I think that's where it's picking up this personality because as, as, as humorous as this is, this is a reflection of what humans have become. Okay. You hit it on the head. If you're saying, we're gonna bring in, we're gonna quantitate, we're gonna figure out where's it getting it? Most of it, a lot of it's coming from social media. And this is telling us that in social media, if you quantify how crazy social media has gotten, how angry and despicable social media has gotten, that's what's being fed to Mr. Bing right now. Now, I was, I was interested. They, they said, you know, the Bing said, your, your reporter who's lying to everybody spreading fake news, you can't be trusted. But there's some really serious legal issues and most people don't understand what those issues are. We talk about this case all the time, don't we? We've been talking about the fact this is going to the Supreme Court, how these two cases are huge, and basically it has to do with something fairly simple. It is that you have Florida that says, look, you can't ban politicians. Florida says, and oh, by the way, you can't remove content because you disagree with user viewpoint. And those are picking up in states all over the country right now. Right? Yeah. And Texas also has a nearly identical law and those are the two the Supreme Court's holding up. I do take issue with the way the laws were written just in general, because they're making assumptions that they couldn't prove. Sure, like, oh, you can't ban people based on their political viewpoints alone. There's no evidence that the political viewpoint alone was the reason. When you look back at some of the users who were banned, it's clear that they violated the terms of service. But at the same time, parts of these laws absolutely do make sense, because you cannot have these vague terms of service that are determined by people in a back room, because that is when ideologies and things of that nature do come into play. So we need to have these open forums and certain types of things should be banned from these platforms. You know, death threats, things of that nature. Doxxing somebody. But I don't think, yeah, that's the problem. Okay. Who interprets what that is? Exactly. And so they're gonna have to clear that up. But the argument for the tech industry, of course, is First Amendment. That you can't tell us what we can say and can't say, and by their actions, it is an action that actually creates a First Amendment issue. I think something has to shake up the tech industry. A hundred percent. Yeah. With these Supreme Court judges, something's gonna happen and I don't think tech industry's gonna be really happy with it. No. One of the decisions coming out of 11th Circuit, 11th Circuit is a very conservative circuit. And they've ruled in a way that it's pretty good for the people who wanna say to the tech industry, look, you need to stop. And the main point of all of this is, again, I disagree completely when they say, oh, you're censoring conservatives. The studies have actually proven that ain't the case at all. But. But I wanna tell you something. I wanna point something out. You're right. Some studies do and some studies don't. Statistics can lie. Right. And that's what's happening here. That's what you're gonna see in front of the Supreme Court, two sides of it. Well, and the big thing is that there has to be the transparency. And I think that's kind of the best we can hope for out of any decision we get, is the public needs to know. Right. You need to be open as a company, whether you're Facebook or Twitter or LinkedIn for god's sake. Whoever you are, if you have these standards, make them to where everybody knows 'em, everybody can follow 'em so that if somebody gets taken off your site, they're not up in arms saying, oh my God, I was deleted because of my political views. No, you actually called to kill somebody. In other words, post what the rules are, is what you're saying. Yeah. Make sure everybody knows it. It's not, well, I've got a secret algorithm and nobody knows what it is. That's kind of where things are right now. So at least post what you're gonna do to moderate all this, I think is your point. Now, there's been the speculation that he's probably going to challenge it. Uh, it wasn't until the last couple days that he did officially say, thanks, but no thanks. I am protected by the speech or debate clause. Now, his objection to the subpoena actually came on the exact same day that Donald Trump came out and said, oh, I'm declaring executive privilege over Mike Pence. He can't testify. That's what his lawyer said. And, uh, that's, that's not a thing at all. You, you can't declare that only the sitting president can, and that happens to be President Biden, and I'm willing to bet he's not gonna invoke it for former Vice President Mike Pence. So the executive privilege argument is out, but the speech or debate clause, right, that's the big one. That's the one that may or may not save him. And legal experts unfortunately, are completely torn on it. You have some legal experts saying, yeah, it's probably game over speech or debate. He doesn't have to testify while others say, that's preposterous, he didn't have a vote. So how can the speech or debate clause, which allows them to go on fact finding missions, how can that apply to somebody who didn't have a vote? The reason there is so much disagreement among these legal scholars is that for the vice presidency, the speech or debate clause is untested. We don't know what the courts would determine because it's never been done. So Mike Pence has now entered uncharted waters by claiming he is protected by the speech or debate laws with his overseeing of the January 6th, uh, electoral college certification. Now, I'm inclined to believe that if you don't have a vote, you shouldn't be protected by speech or debate protections because you don't go on these so-called fact finding missions to make an informed decision about your vote. If you don't have a vote, you have no say in whether something is a vote yes or vote no. Like that's, that's not up to you. So here we are with the former vice President who is not accused of any wrongdoing, still not wanting to testify, and I also firmly believe that this is his way to try to pander to the right, cuz Mike Pence is gonna run for president. Um, and try to say like, Hey, I wasn't a turn code. I didn't just roll over on all my buddies. I, I fought it as best I could and all darn it I lost. Or, Hey, I won. That was, I didn't expect that. Uh, but that's what he's doing here because he knows he's not in trouble. Like, Mike, this is the one good thing you ever did. Why not just go and tell the truth? Isn't that what Jesus would want you to do? Or do you not actually care what Jesus would want you to do? Oh, okay, I got it, I got that. Um, but again, we're gonna see legal challenges to this. This is gonna end up in court and the courts will then decide what kind of protections the former vice president or actually the current vice president, any vice president actually has. And this could be exceptionally damaging because it could provide blanket immunity for vice presidents.
