In this short video, I give my first impressions and contemplate this amazing piece of engineering. The watch was only available through the lottery system from MB&F to be able to buy the watch. I submitted one email and was lucky that I won the allocation for the watch in March, and the watch just arrived end of June. I think more brands should be brave like Max and make watches like these, which offer so much for the money. I will make a review video, after taking it with me on the summer holidays, I know I will get a lot of comments and compliments on it :D The M.A.D.1's fully visible triple-blade, titanium, and tungsten rotor winds one of the rare automatic movements with unidirectional winding (essential for an easy, high-speed rotation), the reliable Miyota 821A, flipped upside-down – a nod to MB&F's HM3 and HM8. Time is displayed laterally thanks to revolving hour and minute cylinders, engraved and boosted with Super-LumiNova. Specifications: Inverted Miyota 821A automatic movement with winding rotor on the top and lateral time display system. A revolving hour and minute rings in aluminum alloy, engraved numbers with Super-LumiNova. Winding rotor in titanium and tungsten, Super-LumiNova highlights. Power reserve: 60 hours. The watch has a 38mm diameter, 12mm thickness, 44mm lug to lug, and 20mm lug width. The water resistance is rated at 5 bar, and the SW200-based automatic movement ticks at 28800 vph with a 38h power reserve.
