This specific model uses TLC 3D NAND Flash for increased speed and reliability over the QLC based drives, and also uses a Maxio MAP1202 controller with YMTC Triple level cell NAND flash. Speeds are exactly where you would expect for a PCIe Gen3 X 4 drive of this spec at 3500MBps read and 3150MBps writes. Also using a pSLC cache of around 80GB to speed up transfers without needed to have expensive dedicated DRAM cache. Windows fast startup is a legacy setting that was used to improve boot times for hybrid or HDD based machines and saved the windows kernel to the HDD or SSD to allow your last used programs and apps to be ready and waiting after a shutdown. This is a good idea in theory and did actually make boot times faster, but with it brought some other issues as the kernel wasn't flushed so old data and config settings were restored even after a shutdown, although not after a reboot, which does actually flush the kernel data. So if you are having issues with programs not updating or windows updates not installing this should fix your problem and make your windows experience a better one.
