- This time around.. I tell you a story about how i revealed to my family that i would no longer be taking part in our Thanksgiving celebration, if turkey or meat of any kind was to be served. What is of interest here, and what i will be sharing, is the conversation i had with my family. I made this video because i want to show you what having an ingrained, reflexive cultural practice does to one's ability to think clearly, rationally and morally. This is such an important lecture, and i really hope my experience illustrates how deeply we are all in need of wake up calls with regard to the normalized barbarity of this occasion. Once we wrap our heads around the obvious morality issues, this becomes an unpalatable ritual. I will Show you Why you should quit thanksgiving, or at least be aware of the true immorality of the occasion. The Truth about this Ritual, is that it is based in pure slavery, animal abuse, torture, and slaughter. - There are Way too many other food options available to us that do not require slaughter.. a vegan thranksgiving is easily attainable. Animal cruelty, animal abuse, turkey slaughter and all that bad stuff is just not necessary in any modern society. Let's go for cruelty free, and say no to thanksgiving day turkey
