I have a bit of an update on the situation that came up last September and a neighbor thinking that they owned the road that I use to access my off grid cabin property. I got a lot of views and a lot of comments on the first video. Some great advice and some ridiculous advice. One of the things that many people said in the comments was that I am being too nice but something that most of those commenters don't seem to understand is that these people could make my life miserable if I was heavy-handed. They live there, I don't. Although I do have security measures at my cabin I would hate to see my place broken into, damaged, burned, etc. I think the best tact to take here at this point is to tread lightly. If necessary, I can always take this the legal route but I don't want to get involved with courts, lawyers, cops if possible. So, I'm slow playing this in the hopes that it doesn't get out of hand and go to the next level. It may or may not prove to be the wise thing in the end. Painting done....for now but there is still a lot to move over and get set up. We now have everything but our beds, office and a few pieces of furniture moved to the new homestead. We expect that Friday night will be our first night sleeping there. We changed the POD move date from Friday to Monday just so we had move time to get everything done. Our internet options are not looking good and we are in need of some serious help. Verizon Wireless, Direct TV, Time Warner Cable, and every other major carrier doesn't offer service to our home. Satellite is expensive and there are data constraints but it may be our only hope unless y'all have other ideas.
