Steps To Program And Save:
1. UNLOCK (if locked) - Press and hold #
2. Put into FREQUENCY Mode - Press orange VFO/MR
3. Delete/clear channel to use:
MENU, 28, MENU, type CH #, MENU, EXIT
4. Type main/receiving frequency on main screen
5. Save it: MENU, 27, MENU (enter CH to use), MENU, EXIT
6. Enter Input (offset) frequency
7. Enter T-CTCS (TONE): MENU 13, MENU, select tone from list, MENU, EXIT
8. Save it again: MENU, 27 , MENU (enter CH to save), MENU, EXIT
9. Test!

A few Jeeps going up the large waterfall about mid-way up Doran Scenic Trail in Calico (Yermo), California. This ledge is about 4 feet high and on this day it was fairly well stacked with rocks making it a bit easier than usual, but even when stacked, "the waterfall" aka "The Salad Tosser" is still an intimidating obstacle.
In this video are few Jeep Wrangler JKs, a couple of Wrangler TJs and a 1969 Jeepster Commando.

Some raw-footage of the NotaRubicon and a few other Jeeps coming down "The Chute" at the Cleghorn Ridge trail.
The Chute is at about the halfway point on the trail between Interstate 15 and Highway 138. At the top of The Chute a skull & crossbones and the words "DO NOT" are painted on a large rock. The Chute is very steep, very rutted and very narrow. You have to ride the wall most of the way down and if your tire slips off the wall your drivers-side will bash into the wall. Toward the bottom there is a large rock-ledge which you can see in the video.

On November 6, 2016 The NotARubicon led a group of 18 Jeeps up the 2N17X Jeep trail above Silverwood Lake. This trail splits off from 2N33 (Pilot Rock Truck Trail) at "The Gatekeeper" and follows the ridge-line for 3.2 miles where it meets back up with 2N33. 2N17X has always been classified as a black-diamond "difficult" trail but during the Pilot Fire in August 2016, several areas were bulldozed smooth to make access easier for fire-fighters. The trail's Adopt A Trail sponsor, Victor Valley 4 Wheelers also recently did some extensive trail repairs leaving the most difficult obstacle, at about the half-way point, now easily passable.
2N17X is now easily do-able with any 4WD vehicle with the exception of The Gatekeeper which still requires a good traction, articulation, a good line and steady nerves. Our group of 18 Jeeps finished the trail in about 3 hours.
