Alex gets triggered about the release of the Nintendo Switch Lite and we discuss it. The Nintendo Switch lite is a Nintendo Switch without the ability to output video to any device (you can't play on tvs), no hd rumble, no infrared, can't be used with Nintendo Labo, is locked to 720p [the screen resolution], the joy-cons can not be removed, no amiibo support, can only play handheld games (for instance, no super mario party), has no kickstand and lots more. The benefits? It's a smaller form factor and comes in BRIGHT colors! It's also $100 less than the regular Switch. Alex is the son of an immigrant who came to america in 1980. His father's first job in America was at McDonald's cleaning floors. He worked his ass off and provided for his family. The $200 price point is nothing but a cash grab for families who would like to spend less or can't afford gaming consoles. It is anti consumer and Nintendo should be ashamed. If you are really in the market for a good gaming experience around the $200 price point then you should just buy a "NEW" Nintendo 2DS [the one that folds for $129] and steer clear of this monstrosity.
