"Mongolian Harmony" features traditional Mongolian music, including "throat singing," long song, horse-head fiddle, and twenty-first century ethno-jazz with the ensemble Boerte. Boerte takes throat singing into the modern age, and reinterprets traditional Mongolian instruments and harmonies.

The Peder Sather Center for Advanced Study, Peder Sather Symposium took place on October 25, 2012, in the Berdahl Auditorium, Stanley Hall. University of California, Berkeley.
