So first I have to explain you what Kingsday is all about. On the 27th of April we celebrate the birthday of our (Dutch) King. This is a national holiday and in every city in The Netherlands you can party and go on the piss. It's huge, by far the most populair holiday in The Netherlands I reckon. Everyone is dressed in orange and people show up with the most craziest outfits! You can say Dutchies like to party and that's the reason why we celebrate it in Australia as well.
Last year I also performed at Kingsday in Melbourne, but this year was going to be huge! The organization that booked me flew me in from Sydney for the weekend. I took five friends with me and had the time of my life!
In My Ozzie Story I show you everything about my journey through Australia. You see the ups and downs and become a part of all the adventures. After I graduated I expected to find a job but unfortunately this became way harder than I thought it would be. One year later I decided to make a change and go for a new adventure to learn more about myself and the world. I started My Ozzie Story to keep my friends and family updated back home but I also want to help and inspire people who are struggling and might be ready for a new adventure. I hope you will have as much fun watching this as I do creating this. Cheers! ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGvnXDy3O9g
This week I will take you to the biggest National Park of Australia: KAKADU! I was so impressed by the beautiful nature of Kakadu that I spend hours and hours taking videos here. In my opinion one of the most beautiful episodes of this season with heaps of crocodiles wildlife and beautiful nature. Also we go to the world famous infinity pool at Lake Argyle!

After three and a half years, the last episode of My Ozzie Story has finally arrived. It all started with the idea to keep my friends and family in the Netherlands informed about my adventure in Australia. This has gotten completely out of hand, how it often goes with me. Three and a half years later I am no less than 45 episodes, 500+ subscribers, and over 300,000 views further !! Something like, I never expected this in advance ... Also very cliché, there are a few people who I would like to thank very much and who have contributed enormously to bring about this project. First of all, of course, Feline, who taught me the tricks of filming and editing and who I spent the first four months in Australia with! Justin & Fabio who played a big role in the background during my time in Melbourne. Django, despite your choice to leave Australia early, a lot of things went differently than planned and I am grateful for that too! Berto & Dennis, I also had a fantastic time with you and without Berto, I would never have been in such excellent shape as in Sydney. Takis & Dev who offered me shelter both during my short holiday in the Netherlands and after my Australian adventure. And of course not to forget Gijs & Erik, with whom I shared one room in Collaroy for almost 9 months. To then make a wonderful trip on the East Coast together with Erik & Nico!
After my two-year stay in Australia, I thought I would start a new adventure in New Zealand. Unfortunately, this did not go as expected and it was entirely my fault. Nevertheless, fortunately I was also able to get the positive out of this afterwards. Finally, I would like to thank Ella for the support she has given me during my time in New Zealand. You were always the bright spot at the end of the tunnel.
Last but not least, I want to thank you all for your support and views. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. It was a lot of work, but it was 100% worth it! Who knows until the next project!
Cheers,
Bram

This week we drove from Alice Springs to Darwin. 1500 km of straight road with not much to see except for a pub at Daily Waters, the Mataranka hot springs and just before we arrive in Darwin we visit the famous Litchfield National Park!

Sometimes editing sucks and you get stuck. Fortunately there is always light at the end of the tunnel and as a matter of fact editing is a nice metaphor towards the farm. In the first part of ‘My Story at the Farm’ you see how I experienced to live with five total strangers in a house at the countryside of Australia.

When you want to travel you need money and saving is not really my cup of tea. Besides I have to work 88 days in regional jobs to get my 2nd year visa granted. So I’m going to pick grapes! In this episode I show you how it’s like to do fruit picking jobs in Australia and of course I show you some of the beautiful nature of Tasmania.

Together with my friend Marije from the Netherlands I did a road trip through Bali, Indonesia. You will see parts of Canggu, Ubud and Sideman in this episode. What a great culture and place to be!

After two months the Tasmanian journey has come to an end. To celebrate our stay we visit a semi-illegal bushparty in the South of Tassie. Thereafter we fly back to Melbourne to celebrate a big Dutch celebration called Kingsday. I will perform for 200 Dutchies on a special event in the city. A lot of fun but also some sadness because Feline and I say goodbye to each other…

There's a lot going on at this part of our trip. I got invited to play Tennis at a vineyard in the McLaren Vale. Afterwards we visit Adelaide and did some wine tasting in on of the most famous wine regions of the world: The Barossa Valley! And then it's time to go in to the Outback and visit the Flinders Ranges!!

YES! I’m going to Australia. Nervous as fuck, almost lost in Jakarta during my 12 hour transit and stressing about all the stuff I have to arrange like opening a bank account and finding an accommodation. You’ll all see it in the very first episode of… My Ozzie Story!
