DIY Vitamin D how to optimize your sun exposure to make healthy vitamin D
I have been reading some people claim Vitamin D may be helpful in reducing your chances of going to the hospital with the current virus. This is just a guess at the moment. However low levels of vitamin D might account for the discrepancies seen in the data among people hospitalized with the virus from different countries and even among different races and ethnicities. There would be very little downside to increasing levels of D if they were not optimal. It is not good to take too much D or to take more than is recommended by your health professional. However, if a person did not have a few dollars to buy D supplement pills or cod liver oil they could take advantage of the sunlight in those places the sun was at the correct intensity. The best way to optimize your sun exposure to get your vitamin D is to simply find out your UV index for your city. https://www.theweathernetwork.com/us/forecasts/uv/florida/sunrise If your area is deficient in sunlight you can take low cost pills or cod liver oil.
You can find the pills and oil I take on my Amazon page.

I have been thinking a lot about organizing my balcony work space.
I have found very few videos or articles on the subject of organizing small workshop spaces.
My plan was to make small square containers and label them by categories of tools and materials. I made a list of 31 categories. Dividing everything I use into many separate specific categories is the heart of the system. Not all of my items will fit a small container, but most will and having them categorized will help me quickly find them.
small workshop tool organizational system
Labeled containers
1.) screwdrivers , 19.)jigsaw
2.) sockets, wrenches 20.)circular saw
3.)cutters, blades, snips, scissors 21.)drill and drill press
4.)hammer,punches,rivets,awls,chisels 22.)drawers
5.)measure, 23.)doors
6.) mark, 24.)windows, glass, screens
7.)glue, tape,epoxy, 25.)furniture
8.)wire,cord,string 26.)rod, angle, channel
9.)elastic, foam, cork,neoprene 27.)car, boats, and engines
10.)sand,grind,scrape 28.)appliances
11.)clamp 29.)garden
12.)paint,stain, 30) firearms
13.) heat, burn 31.)PVC
14.)electrical 32.) daily or most commonly used
16.)plumbing 33.) batteries
17.)cement 34.) compressor
18.)router 35. used often
36.) solar
Once I see if I like the storage system I will make wooden containers to replace the milk cartons. To always know where the tools should be returned I will eventually number the containers and make corresponding numbers on the tools.
Having a place for everything and everything in its place is the number one concept of organizing a small workspace
After viewing other workshops, I will be adding 5 other ideas to my workshop to make it even more efficient
1.)Put big items on wheels. by using wheels I can remove items to another area and open up the floor space. Also, if I store items behind shelves or tables that are not on wheels those items may as well be at the north pole as it will be a pain to get at them and they will become forgotten.
2.) use dust control. Power tools that do not have dust control do not get used a lot in small spaces and many projects never get built.Dust control is going to be a big priority in my workspace.
3. use vertical space. my shop uses its floor space poorly. I forget the floor space extends to the ceiling, I should take full advantage of it.
4. Pick projects and tools to fit my space and environment.
I am using a balcony in an apartment in a building with many other ten

Paul Kangas was co-anchor on Nightly Business report out of PBS in Miami for decades. Over the years he talked to and interviewed hundreds of business owners and financial analysts. When he retired in 2009 I watched the show and remember he was asked what financial advice he would give the average person to make money in the stock market. Paul said if people took his advice when they were young they could almost be guaranteed to have a lot of money by the time they retired. He advised people to buy a reliable new car and maintain and drive it forever instead of trading it in like so many people do and then use the payments after it was paid off to build an investment portfolio.
Month after month, year after year, eventually if a person started young enough they were likely by retirement age to have a small fortune if they took his advice.
I usually bought used cars and drove them forever but I never added to a portfolio the payments I would've been making on a new car. I wish I had.
If you can not afford a new car you can still buy the most reliable used cars and do the same thing. In my opinion, a low mileage used Toyota Corolla, Camry, Matrix, or Rav4 would be the best options for keeping a car for a long time.
As far as the investment part of the plan, that is tricky as so many things are changing. I think the best investment is the one you know the most about. Many people recommend Index funds of the market that charge minimal fees for long-term market investment and many also recommend a small percentage of funds to be invested in precious metals you personally hold or mining index funds.
I would never invest heavily in cryptocurrency because of the likelihood of the government soon getting involved with their own cryptocurrencies and changing the cryptocurrency landscape. The real estate investment landscape is also changing due to demographics and possible tax law changes. Certain regions of the country are going to be declining in real estate profitability more so than others as people leave and taxes are increased.

How to make a small pocket holster for a small concealed carry pistol like a Taurus PLY 22 or Beretta or Ruger made from Coroplast and Gorilla tape.
This is my first holster and design. I will make improvements to the next one. I will not be adding cable ties but sewing the holster with heavy-duty upholstery thread, but I will still reinforce it with Gorilla Tape. I think I can make a smaller holster with a better pocket footprint. The Coroplast worked out a little better than I expected. The cable ties and Gorilla tape made for a very robust holster, although kinda rednecky looking. The bulge from the cable ties draws attention to the holster which is the opposite desired effect, but it does help add friction to reduce the ability of the holster to easily slide out of the pocket. A simple addition of a strip of neoprene would have the same result without creating a bulge.
I would like to emphasize the pistol had no cartridge in the chamber and was on safety and for much of the video the pistol did not even have the magazine in it. I did add the loaded magazine at the very end to test the weight of the Taurus in the holster. One of my favorite ways to carry the Taurus is in a large front shirt pocket. I will try to make a small holster for the front or back pants pocket that is rectangular.
This was a fun project and took very little time considering I have never made a holster before. Coroplast and Gorilla tape are pleasant materials to work with. I look forward to the usual helpful YouTube comments.

Chick peas and oats make a surprisingly tasty and low cost base for a smoothie or chocolate shake chock full of protein, and if you have an old Vita Mix like I do, you can pulverize the heck out of the shake so there is almost no discernible pulpy fiber taste to it. I made this smoothie to see how many ingredients I could add. I stopped at18.
You will not lose weight with this drink, but you will certainly have plenty of low cost and delicious nutrition. I highly recommend you try the chia seeds if you have a vita mix that can handle them.
I also recommend you do not leave out the oats as that is what gives the shake its creamy taste. I add turmeric and pumpkin or sweet potato to my oats when preparing them.
Recipe
1 15 ounce can chick peas rinsed and drained several times
1 big scoop oats with turmeric and pumpkin
1 Tablespoon peanut butter
2 tablespoons powdered milk
2 tablespoons Ovaltine (optional)
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 tablespoon raisins
2 tablespoons chia
1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
sprinkling of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons wheat germ
1/2 banana
1/2 apple
3 strawberries
2 cups filtered water
1 tablespoon sugar (optional)

Just having fun making movies.
The photos and music are not owned by me. The music is free to use and by Ergo Phizmiz. This track is Indra Merca. Ergo is amazing!
The photos are from sites that provide photos that can be used on Youtube such as Flikckr commons and wikimedia commons. I cleaned the photos up, selected and arranged them in a sequence that suited me and I made the slide show, but they are not mine individually.

My Kodak Playsport would not turn off. It froze. I could not find any information in the Kodak manual on how to fix it. I found help on a forum that told me how to use the reset button.
I used a pen but nothing happened, I found out you need to use a needle like item to reset the button.
I have the latest software version update so do not know why it is freezing, but so far this has helped it unfreeze and I have not had another problem. It is a great camera.

I like low-cost Timex Readers with the wonderful Indiglo luminous dial function. The batteries last a few years and are simple to replace. You can buy a similar Timex used on eBay for $10. My current Timex watch had stopped glowing when activated so I replaced the battery. I used a very small regular screwdriver to pry open the back by accessing the tiny lip marked on the back by a tiny pointer.
In the past, after I replaced the battery I was able to press the back of the watch in with my fingers and thumbs. It helps to add a little silicone grease on the gasket to make the back snap in place easier.
This particular time I did not have any silicone grease and replacing the watch back was very difficult. I ended up placing the watch on a stiff box on a table with some give to it and used a simple piece of wood to press uniformly on the back of the watch to snap it in place. You might try also a paperback book and a towel to rest the watch on to provide some give to keep the watch from being damaged when you are pressing the back on. But don't risk using this method with an expensive watch or if you have an alternative that is less risky.
Using this method risks breaking the crystal. If you go on Amazon you can buy low-cost watch presses for about $15 which will reduce the chance of ruining your crystal.
The silicon I usually use is silicon spray and I add it to the Q tip. Do not spray on the watch any lubricant. You can buy silicone grease also in a tube. Use it very sparingly, you do not want to gum up the watch, you only want to add a tiny amount to the gasket to aid in its realignment with the watch.

I used my Rockwell Bladerunner to cut my mini muffin pan in half so it will fit in my toaster over and I have been goin' to town with the mini muffins.
You will like these, they are very flavorful and surprisingly moist for something that has corn meal in it.
You don't have to add the ingredients I added, but just make sure you mince or finely grate everything except the fish. Nobody likes chunks of vegetables in their muffins. You want niche chunks of seafood if you can get it.
I try to add turmeric to everything, I think it may be healthy for us. the mussels are a bargain at walmart at 4 dollars a pound cleaned. They are from chile grown in very clean water. You won't know they are in the muffin if you were not told as they are chopped pretty small.
The salmon is Alaska wild caught, one of the best low cost foods you can eat.
I normally make salmon patties in my skillet but they have a lot of oil in them, this method of preparation uses a lot less oil.
I know the editing is going to make some viewers dizzy, but it might make some viewers want to dance, I am willing to risk it.
You guys take care, I can't tell you how much I enjoy making my little videos and having people enjoy them. I appreciate everybody letting me have a little fun and make and share stuff, and hope you all go and do likewise.
be good.
