One of my favorite parts about this story is the fact that two days ago, two days ago, it was a big article out there asking the question, why hasn't John Eastman been held accountable for his role in the attempts to overturn the 2020 election? And while he still technically is not being held accountable for it, he is being punished for it to a degree.

As they're, as they do every January, raising the prices on hundreds of prescription drugs in America, simply because they can. But they've got these articles out here that they paid for saying, we give so much money to charity. We're on the forefront of cutting edge medical technology. It's a sham and they're paying for it.

They do the television production. They give it to MSNBC, they give it to CNN. They give it to the corporate networks and they just run it. Why? So last week, Donald Trump had a very, very bad week in the United States judicial system. Obviously he lost his big lawsuit to try to stop his records from being released by the National Archives to the January 6th committee. He has appealed that ruling and he did get a stay and injunction on releasing those this past Friday, of course, in DC, the lawsuit against the Trump inaugural committee was allowed to move forward. Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders is now fighting desperately to prevent her travel records, and not just her travel, but the information about all the people she's traveling with. She wants to keep it secret from voters in her state, even though the state's open records laws do in fact require her to disclose this information. And she has now been hit with a lawsuit following a rejected Freedom of Information Act, a lawsuit that, by the way, is actually going in front of a judge today. Knowing that this court date was coming up today, Sarah Huckabee Sanders actually called a special session of the Republican controlled state legislature. And one of the issues she wanted them to take up was revising the Freedom of Information Act law in the state of Arkansas to exempt certain kinds of gubernatorial records from public disclosure. In short, she made all of the legislature come back to work so that they could cover up whatever the hell it is. She's trying to keep hidden.
And no matter what happens with today's ruling, if this piece of legislation passes, which may or may not happen, 'cause even some Republicans in the state are like, whoa, this is, this is a pretty shady deal. We don't support it. Even Americans for Prosperity, right? The Coke backed group is like, Hey, this is not okay. We don't support this. But if it does pass, it's retroactive, which means it wouldn't just be for all future travel, it would cover travel that already happened in the past, which of course is what she's being sued over by that lawyer. So this is a real cover your moment. The question is, why is she trying to cover her? You've only been governor since the beginning of this year. Okay? We're talking about what is today, September 14th. So what have you done in nine months? Actually eight and a half months, that's made you realize like, oh crap, I don't want the public to see this.
I mean, listen, most people in serving in public office, they don't immediately jump right into the corruption, right? You gotta build up to it unless you're George Santos, then you do it before you even get elected. But you know, that's the exception, not the rule. So Sarah Huckabee Sanders, what are you trying to hide and why? Now we have seen this happen in other states, particularly my state of Florida. According to a report from the New York Post this week, Rudy Giuliani is finally starting to actually feel the weight of all of the legal and financial problems that he's currently facing. Donald Trump has accidentally made the case that Donald Trump should never be the president of the United States ever again. And he did it during his rally in Wisconsin this past Saturday. Now, Trump did a lot of things in that rally, you know, said some horrible things. He had plenty of mistakes. And because of those two separate things, kind of taking up the headlines, another thing that happened with Donald Trump during that, uh, rally, kind of flew under the radar. In fact, let me read you this from the International Business Times, former president Donald Trump, indicated at a Wisconsin campaign rally Saturday that people in their eighties are too frail to competently sign documents. He threw out the comment as he railed about the elderly being called on to apparently sign voting a attestations or witness statements in Fulton County, district Attorney Fannie Willis' investigation into election interference in Georgia. And then he actually went on to mock him. He said, you had people in their eighties, would you sign here? He mockingly told the rally crowd apparently posing as Willis or her investigators leaning on the feeble elderly.
So according to Donald Trump, who happens to be 78 years old, people over the age of 80 simply cannot be trusted mentally to sign documents. You see why that's a problem for Donald Trump, who again, is 78 years old today, before we're even halfway through a second term of Donald Trump, he would be 80 years old, which by his own standards means that we shouldn't trust him to sign any documents, which then of course, would mean that he wouldn't be able to sign any bills. He couldn't issue any executive orders, he couldn't even sign Christmas cards to people. He couldn't sign any documents because he says people over the age of 80 simply cannot be mentally trusted. So by his own standards, we now all are required, I guess, to vote against him in November. I, I'm just trying to take his advice here. I'm just trying to tell you to listen to the man for once and make sure that this feeble 78-year-old, that's clearly never worked out a day in his life. So God only knows what's happening in here. Um, he doesn't think that he should be president. And again, I have to reiterate this, as I've said in the past, just because somebody is old does not mean that their mind is slipping. Yes, it does tend to happen with age reaction times do get slower no matter how mentally fit you are,
But not everybody who gets into old age. If you make it that far, not everybody has dementia or Alzheimer's or any other kind of, you know, disease that is going to cognitively impair you. So Trump's statement, first of all, is ageist, like right out the gate, totally ageist because it lumps every single person into one category, which as we know, is never the case ever with any group of people, no matter which category you're trying to put 'em in. But for him, at 78 years old, we've already seen the signs that he is not all there anymore. Hell, in this rally alone, he referred to Elon Musk as Leon, he couldn't pronounce the word eliminate. He referred to Wisconsin, GOP Chair, Brian Shimming as Breyer. So in this speech where he's saying that, hey, elderly people can't be trusted, he repeatedly screwed things up time after time, after time. And that's just a handful of them. Ron DeSantis campaign, according to recent reports, is, is pretty much on life support at this point. He is now struggling to raise money. He's had a lot of high profile donors pull out, and it was revealed recently that he also wasted $1.6 million from a group called Enterprise Florida that's now defunct. Okay. So reporters said, well, cool. Who, which, like, who are the donors? That's what Politico asked Enterprise Florida. Even though they're defunct, they're like, okay, but, but who are the donors then Enterprise Florida, or at least what's left of it didn't respond. So they insist that no tax dollars were used on this trip for Ron DeSantis to learn foreign policy, and then they refuse to tell us where any of the money came from, which totally makes their story 100% believable, right, folks. Not to mention the fact that earlier this year, the Republicans who do whatever Ron DeSantis wants them to do actually pass legislation, shielding the governor's travel records from the public. So if tax dollars were in fact used for this, we would not know. So it's easy for Enterprise Florida to claim that, oh, no, no tax dollars were used when they know that we actually cannot look up to see if tax dollars were used. So we don't know what the truth is. Were these private donations?
Was this, I mean, was this my tax dollars? Did I blow $1.6 million? I haven't paid that much in taxes for Ron DeSantis to try to learn how to be a leader. God, I hope not. But here's the thing. Here's how that money breaks down. Okay? $1.6 million wasted for this idiot to learn foreign policy. 1.49 million was spent on transportation. So you spent 1.6 and 1.5 of that was just on the private jet that flew you around to all these places. $66,000 was spent on hotels and 10,000 was on food, and another 20,000 paid for quote programs and mission administration. So that's, that's where all the money went, right? We had a lot of food. We stayed in some hotels. Oh, and, uh, yeah, we, uh, uh, spent $1.5 million on private jet. You better hope that money is from private
Donors, because if those were our tax dollars being spent for this idiot to go and try to learn how to do foreign policy, then there's gonna be some pretty off people down in the state of Florida. I can promise you that. But again, thanks to those Republicans in Tallahassee, we may never know where this money came from, which is exactly why they passed that law in the first place. Oh, and for the record, yes, that 1.6 million was wasted because R DeSantis campaign is going down in flames. So looks like he and his wife just got a bit of a world tour for nothing more than their enjoyment.
