Longkong (Langsat) | Lansium Domesticum | HD Video
Visit my website at http://www.junglejoel.com - the fruit you see me eating in the video is the thick-skinned variety of Lansium domesticum, known in Thailand as "longkong" - while the thin-skinned variety is called 'langsat." I can't tell the difference between langsat and longkong, but I've been told that langsat will leave your fingers sticky after peeling, and longkong will not.
This fruit is native to South East Asia, but is now grown in tropical regions worldwide.
