Its so easy to do some airport building for x-plane 11 so follow me and i'll show you how in just a few minutes. Its easy to create new scenery, add aircraft objects, people and s much more. It is also possible to change seasons to a point. Ortho4xp is very versatile.
You will impress your friends with new airports you have made yourself in just a short time. Its very easy to expand you default scenery and quick building a city is a dream.
Overlay editor which is a free scenery creation tool you can make new towns and airports quickly and easily with no need to learn 3d programs. Let me show you how its done!

Gunnies Let's Fly VFR is a channel with a focus on X Plane 11 with a primary interest is Flight Simulation but all flight is fun isn't it, so all facets of general aviation flying are welcome here. If you like to simulate dangerous situations you may encounter in real flight then this is the place to come. W e are all about entertainment and not necessarily trying to be a tutorial channel as I am not an Instructor.
I have over 20 years in aviation but my background is military aircraft but not as a pilot. I am/was a technician with experience on all the RAAF had to offer while I was in the Air Force. I was truly fortunate and also got to fly in many of the transports, helicopters even doing some door gunnery.
For me the highlight was having a fun flight in a Mirage IIIO and flights on Macchi Jet trainers. More fun with your clothes on you cannot have... :)
I earned my Sport Pilot License some years back and enjoy my time flying immensely. Flying VFR around the Adelaide northern towns has been a challenge and a lot of fun.

Its always important to remember that takeoffs are optional but landings are mandatory! As a real world pilot I make sure I get as many landings under my belt as possible to be proficient.
Landing may seem simple but when the pressure of your life is at stake and you have a few not so good ones plus some gusty winds the mental game is 100% on.
X Plane 11 with its really great real time flight dynamics makes it as good a challenge as it can be in a PC or Mac Flight Simulator.

If you want to make the PERFECT LANDING then you need the perfect Circuit and Approach! What procedure do you follow???
1) Attitude controls Airspeed / Power Controls Decent OR Attitude controls Decent and Power Controls Airspeed .... Which one are you? If you don't fly your approach with one of these then your not likely to be a consistent pilot!

x-plane-11.50-beta-16-amazing-4k-scenery
X Plane 11.50 Beta 16 with its introduction of Vulcan/Metal has been amazing. The frame rates and reduced stuttering are great. Today I am taking what is a jaw dropping flight in the Stinson over the amazing and beautiful Wilpena Pound which is part of the amazing Finders Ranges in Australia. Vast mountain range with what looks like huge meteor crater which in fact is naturally created and is 11 * 8 kilometres in size.
I have cut this 40 minute flight where my jaw was on my knees in awe of the X Plane 11 Amazing Scenery.
I have created high quality ortho scenery with Ortho4XP as well as bringing the airport to life adding trees, buildings as well as buildings and fuel tanks.
I hope you enjoy all of this edited flight. Its hard to edit 40 minutes of jaw dropping flight to 8 minutes so I hope you enjoy the vistas as much as I did.
