it's one of those nights i guess. Feel free to critique. I am by no means a professional artist when it comes to music. The arranging and mixing may sound off to some, but I like to create what's on my mind sometimes, and some of that may be in the form of music. I don't follow any lessons or online tutorials on any music-related things, but I instead experiment. So yeah. My loyal viewers may find it strange that I wear all of these creative hats (or I might just be going insane, because I find it strange myself sometimes). I'm currently working on growing my YouTube channel in the form of Garry's Mod-type videos, frequently working with a small team on a DOOM mod as a level designer/graphic artist, and I mess around with a free open-source FLStudio-type software sometimes. I hope the story behind this isn't too complicated. I actually started working on this song a couple of days ago when I felt like utter horse shit. I decided to throw an Arminator 2 into an editor and make a melody, and I subconsciously felt my pain releasing. The next day I was feeling better. I got my shit together and was back on the grind, though I still kinda worked on this just because. It wasn't until tonight when I was playing this back and started to dream about my ambitions with making Garry's Mod films. I reminisced on the release of emotional pain just by letting my artistic abilities flow onto a canvas of some sort. I decided to call this track "physgun" for that very reason. Letting my creative efforts speak for me in a game I have plunged almost 1,500 hours in is a quite meditating experience, even when I invite a couple friends on just to throw props at and film with. I never intended on releasing this either until now, and I don't think I'll make a revised version of this anytime soon to release. As I help myself through a lot of these things, I want to let you all know that darkness will always loom over us when times grow tough, but that doesn't mean all hope is lost. Don't let anyone interfere with your dreams and passions. And also don't let anyone tell you you're a failure. You always have the opportunity to prove them wrong. My dream in life is to create a community and to make an impact, showing people that we don't always have to hold our talents hostage to create something that's popular just to profit from it, but instead be a pioneer of something truly creative, something artistic that we value that we want to share with the world. I know, eight and a half minutes shouldn't have taken this long, but the moral of this story is: MANAGE YOUR FRICKING TIME BETTER! Don't sit around and play games all day.
