I've been spending some time to try and get the Teensy64 C64 emulator to run on my Altair8800Again board. I'm quite happy with the level of support I have been able to achieve. Let's play a little with it.

The chip shortage is upon us - nothing can fix that for now.
So let's build a vintage style computer from parts that are available - and as little of them as possible. Impossible ? OpenSource ?
Update 8:
- I updated the PCB layout to a Pi 3/4 Hat, but kept the 5V in and power switch

About the bad6502:
Presenting the bad6502, the 35 Dollar 6502 based computer that has needs no chips.
Features (subject to change):
- HDMI
- USB keyboard / Mouse
- 1+ MHz WDC65C02
Ok, honestly: ... its a 65C02 with emulated hardware on a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W. But it's cheap and fun and available now. Still fiddling with the hard and software a lot.
More soon !

So now you have a Naish S27 Hover inflatable, and some original Naish foot straps. Let's put them on.
It's quite tricky as it turns out, and needs some preparation.
The PVA deck is very thick and the provided screws are rather short -
here's how I managed to put them on.

A rant and some facts and tips if you plan to use lead-acid batteries for solar energy storage.
I have pretty good over solar power production over the day, and I want to store some and use it at night instead of just giving it away for free.
But these batteries and the general setup is giving me headaches.

Geekbuying donated this updated Ender 3 v3 SE for review, and it is a beginners dream 3D printer - from the box to printing in less than 30 minutes ? Here it is !
Quality and performance is good too, technology is at the height of the times, and it comes with everything you need to get started.
I'm properly impressed by the amount of technology we get at the 200 Euro price-point.
Thank you very much to geekbuying.com for the great donation !

More shutdown blues: Today let's try to restart an old project that simply would not work. And now it does! It's a long video ...
I try to make a simple innovative galvanometer and the required controller using simple parts and a Teensy 3.2, and bring you along in real time (almost).

Stanley's got an amazing product in their line up right now: The advertised with 59db(A) Stanley Silent Air Compressor. At 160 Euros a perfect product.
Too good to be true ? YOU BET!
This is a reasonable offer, sure - but advertising a compressor with a record breaking 59db(A), the loudness of a normal conversation, and delivering a product that shamelessly boasts a LWA 79 sticker right next to the 59er is nothing but a scam.

Three years ago I reviewed the TronXY-X1 3D printer kit.
Now, at about the same incredible price ( 119 Euro ), the XY-2PRO is on sale. What's it like ? Does TronXY still have it ?
They do.
This is a great cheap 3D printer with only minimal assembly required.
Great mechanics, very sturdy frame, quiet steppers, modern hardware and even a good amount of filament.
And surprisingly very few quirks and problems.
