In this video I demonstrate how to prepare Russian Salad (aka Olivier Salad or Stolichny Salad). This is the seed video for my 'Pass the Plate Relay' initiative. See below for more information. It was invented by Lucien Olivier for the Hermitage restaurant in Moscow in the 1860s. It has been a firm favourite in Russia and other former Soviet Bloc countries, as well as gaining popularity in places as far and wide as Mongolia and Latin America. Ingredients: Potatoes Mixed veg Gherkins/dill pickles Dill herb Luncheon meat Apples Dressing: Mayo Mustard Sriracha sauce Sour cream Salt & pepper Garnish: Parsley Dill Hard-boiled eggs Note: NO CHEESE I say again NO CHEESE - Don't even suggest it!
