Enter the castle and Toad will explain that the king has transformed. The next airship has cannons all over. The ones attached to the walls shoot cannonballs and the side cannons shoot Bullet Bills. Once you go far, go down the pipe to take on Roy Koopa. Since Roy is heavy, when he hits the turf, you’ll be stunned for a bit if you’re on the ground. Stomp Roy 3 times to take back the stolen wand and the king will return to normal. You’ll receive a letter from Mario that explains that enemies trapped in ice will come to life when thawed out. You’ll also receive a Bypass Cloud item.

Meet N by the Ferris wheel at Nimbasa City during the spring season on Friday and he will take you for a ride on the wheel explaining about a trainer from 2 years ago. He will return to his castle after the ride. Go to his castle which is underground in Victory Road and you can battle him. For his spring season team, he leads off with Politoed, which has the hidden ability called Drizzle. Politoed will use Hypnosis to put opponents to sleep and makes its moves more powerful with its Life Orb. Lanturn will use Stockpile to raise its Defense stats and Thunder to paralyze opponents. Tentacruel will use Barrier to raise its Defense stat and Rain Dance to bring back the rain. Omastar will use Earth Power to lower the target’s Special Defense stat and Rain Dance to boost its Speed with the Swift Swim ability. Kabutops will use Aqua Jet for first strikes and Stone Edge for critical hits. When Starmie switches out, the Nature Cure ability heals its status problems. Moves like Giga Drain and Earthquake work best for this round.

Bronzor can be tricky as it uses Confuse Ray to confuse opponents and make them flinch using Extrasensory. Toxicroak replaces Mud Bomb with X-Scissor. After the battle, press the switch to free the legendary then go to Mt. Coronet for the grand battle against Team Galactic.

Nimbasa City’s gym has roller coasters to ride on but some release trainers. Ride your way through on the tracks of each color and you’ll reach the gym leader. Elesa uses Electric type Pokémon. Both Emolga will use Quick Attack for first strikes, Pursuit on those who try to switch out, and Aerial Ace for never miss strikes. Zebstrika will use Spark to paralyze opponents and Flame Charge to speed itself up. After the battle, you’ll receive the Bolt Badge and a TM72 (Volt Switch). When Volt Switch strikes, the user switches out for another Pokémon on its team.

The gym of Celadon City has a maze with small trees that require Cut to remove. After navigating the maze, you’ll take on the gym leader. Erika uses Grass type Pokémon. Jumpluff will use Leech Seed to slowly drain the HP of the target every turn and U-turn to switch out after causing damage. Tangela will use Sleep Powder to put the target to sleep and Ancientpower for a 10% chance of raising all of its stats. Victreebel will use Sunny Day to change the weather for 5 turns and Synthesis to restore its HP. Bellossom will use Solar Beam to deal big damage, which will not need to wait a turn when sunlight is in effect. After the battle, you’ll receive the Rainbow Badge and a TM19 (Giga Drain). Giga Drain restores the user’s HP by half the amount of damage the target took.

Back on the surface, you’ll see 2 more religious guards on garbage blocks and a spring that leads to the twin stairways. A Buzzy Beetle goes down on the big stairway, so avoid it to cross safely to reach the flagpole.
