Alien #2: Finally Something I Can Sink My Second, Smaller Teeth Into
Reviewing Alien #2 and although I had to push myself to actually buy this issue, I'm glad I did because I thoroughly enjoyed reading this issue so I guess you've guaranteed I'll buy the next one, Marvel!
Reviewing the next issue of the Bendis League starring Naomi. You know Naomi. She's the character you've never heard of who was created two years ago and already has a show coming. And, since that's the case, they need at least SOME material to adapt for the show.
Reviewing the second issue of Crush and Lobo as we see Crush spend the entire issue obsessing about her relationship. Oh, and then Lobo shows up at the end. Again. Also, I just realized I wore this exact same shirt in my last review for this series.
Reviewing Galactic Rodents of Mayhem #1, this book took a trope we all know and love and reinvented it in a fresh way. Let's talk about why you should be reading it.
Reviewing the third issue of Reptil, as the story goes on, despite the best attempts of the writer, the plot is treading along. I don't hate everything about this story, but there are issues to be addressed before it will get better.
Discussing the possibility of Bucky Barnes taking on the identity of Nomad moving forward in the MCU. This isn't something confirmed, but I would not be surprised in the least if it were to happen.
Reviewing Green Lantern #1, this book reminds me of To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar because we basically have the two older queens and then the little Latin one wanting to be like them, but they all tend to argue with each other. Let's just talk about it.
Reviewing 1stMan from Andy Smith. This book, though it has its flaws, is a perfect example of why independent comics (specifically the superhero variety) have a bright future that I cannot wait to read. Also, as promised I have the link to the campaign in case you want to pick up a copy (because you should, just sayin'): https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/1stman-graphic-novel-by-andy-smith#/
Talking about Justice League #59 and Brian Michael Bendis is here to insert more painfully awkward dialogue while also boosting the character he created. Thankfully, the backup story gave me something to actually enjoy. Let's discuss it, shall we?
