Roger Sippl is a founding partner of Sippl Macdonald Ventures. Previously Roger was founder and CEO of Informix Software, co-founder of The Vantive Corporation and was founder and CEO of Visigenic Software. Roger also was an early individual investor in Illustra Information Technologies (acquired by Informix in 1996), and Red Pepper Software (acquired by Peoplesoft in 1997). Roger currently serves on the boards of HAHT Commerce and Support.com, and attends board meetings of other portfolio companies. He earned a B.S. in computer science from the University of California at Berkeley.
