Does After Man: A Zoology of the Future Deserve a Movie?
As someone who loves biological sciences, I became a big fan of the works of paleontologist and author Dougal Dixon. His 1981 book After Man: A Zoology of the Future has inspired me to look at the evolution of extinct fauna in new ways, and has kept me pondering about what kinds of animals will roam the Earth after we're gone. Such a question has great potential as the concept for a Hollywood film, but would that even be possible given how that idea has been passed on before?

The Chipmunk Adventure had a lot of trouble behind the scenes which prevented it from becoming something more? But if things had been better, should it have gotten sequels in the way we expect sequels out of movie franchises today?

The Alvin and The Chipmunks online fanbase has grown a reputation over the years of non-stop arguments and bullying, and has become unwelcoming to newer fans. Not only do fans' treatments of opinions need to change, but Bagdasarian Productions also needs to help if the fanbase is to return to a much more peaceful community.

If the Fisher-Price Alvinnn!!! and The Chipmunks figures were painted more accurately to what the characters look like in the series, this is how I think the Alvin figure would look.

There are quite a lot of fans who ship Alvin and The Chipmunks characters and enjoy when the show makes little teases to their relationships. But is that truly important to the overall series, or would more romance make the show better?

In my opinion, the live-action Alvin and The Chipmunks films, despite their poor writing quality, have the best designs for the chipmunk characters in the entire franchise. And this opinion isn't just limited to myself and others who grew up on the films, as even older fans who grew up on the cartoon source material have admitted. So today, I examine what traits about these designs make them so appealing to the fanbase and public at large, and the impact it has had on later chipmunk media.

Over the past several weeks (and even before I released my very first video) there's been a "crisis", as it's been termed, that has affected a lot of users on YouTube who specialize in Alvin and The Chipmunks related content. Now that we have some positive news courtesy of user MelissaNThe Crazyettes, I thought I would give my thoughts on the situation and how this will affect the fan community and my channel from this point onward.

In the song that started the whole franchise, Christmas Don't Be Late, Alvin sings about wanting a hula hoop. But could Alvin want anything else?

Even though Alvin, Simon, Theodore, and The Chipettes have faced many enemies throughout the franchise, they aren't consistent across generations. Compared to some of pop-culture's most recognizable villains, Alvin and The Chipmunks does not have one they can call their own. Should they have one? Do they need one? If so, who should they be?
