In my opinion, the live-action Alvin and The Chipmunks films, despite their poor writing quality, have the best designs for the chipmunk characters in the entire franchise. And this opinion isn't just limited to myself and others who grew up on the films, as even older fans who grew up on the cartoon source material have admitted.
