So in this video I assemble and demo my first prototype board and firmware. I've verified the communication layer of the software as fully working but there are other problems. As it turns out I made a very stupid mistake in the circuit while trying to be clever and cut down on parts and I/O. As explained, because of this I'll need to refine the circuitry and modify the firmware. So I've learned from my mistake and am working on designing a version 2.0 pcb and tweaking the firmware to support the new schematic as well. The next video will chronicle the next version (and hopefully last, working iteration).
