DnSAdventures - Camping at White Pines Campground

This is the second time taking the travel trailer out to a campground. Now that we have the hitch tweaked and in a good position, the drive was a lot more comfortable.
Overall I would say this is a nice quiet campground, but once again a bit on the pricey side. You get quite a few amenities with the price, but still not technically a full-hookup site as I would expect for that kind of money. You have electric, water, and gray water connections...but you have to take your trailer over to the dump station to empty the black tank.
We are so ready to head out west for some boon-docking and really testing out our solar power!

Found a cool little piece of history near Ridgefield, CT. An old rail line connecting Ridgefield to a line that runs between Danbury and Norwalk is now a cool walking trail. It is a very easy path to hike with only a gradual incline from the bottom to the top. Should be even better once the leaves hit their peak fall foliage.

On this adventure we take the historic railroad trail from the outskirts of lake Mead close to the Hoover Dam! If just checking out the Hoover Dam itself, we recommend parking on the Arizona side as it is free...even if a slightly longer walk is involved.

What an awesome adventure at Shenandoah National Park! Bear Den Mountain Trail was definitely worth the short relatively easy hike up the mountain for those amazing views. Taking a different way back turned out to be a great decision as well. Sometimes you just don't know until you try!

Hey All,
Thanks for coming by to check out our video hiking Bear Mountain Reservation in Connecticut. Although it was quite the cold day, we still had a blast being outdoors. Plus, hiking in the winter times on hills/mountains can present views not offered during the other seasons. Got to see some cool landscapes off in the distance during this hike without the trees being in the way!

Bass Lake near Yosemite was the second day of our Yosemite National Park trip. We drove across the state of California from San Jose to Oakhurst. It was a beautiful drive and it got quite warm around Los Banos. Luckily our destination for the day involved Bass Lake and a cool shaded hike near a waterfall! :)
