UPDATE - JJ was found NOT GUILTY ! what a complete waste of our money although at least JJ got a free education in LAW ! More poetry by the delightful young poet JJ, part of which was recited by him in court today. I witnessed some of the proceedings and had to stop myself laughing it was so absurd ! Last December, JJ went to his FIRST demo - the student DEMO and found himself in Millbank where the Police were outnumbered and some rogue elements were being violent. Those rogues were made up of a mixture of police officers and demonstrators. JJ saw himself in a 'wanted' style photo in the Evening standard so he went with a lawyer to the police station to clear his name. He was actually injured with blows to his arms and legs from police officers batons on that day. Imagine his shock when instead of apologising for the violent damage caused to his young body, they arrested and charged him with violent disorder. And so now he has THREE days in court costing us lot untold thousands, trying to prove that he is a dangerous man ! If you met him, you'd realise that they dont come much less dangerous than JJ unless you think poetry is dangerous ! (which of course the bank manager at NatWEst did !)
