Simulated Interplanetary Mission - Minmus Landing - Kerbal Space Program
There's only one target left in this mission, and we know we can land using EVA packs, but I wanted to also demonstrate the utility of the space probes as boosters for kerbals in EVA mode. That's the reason I added ladders to the side. As it turns out, it's not that helpful due to control issues, and the kerbal not being able to hold on.
And as it happens, I had load of fuel left regardless and can soft land my interplanetary spacecraft in the low minmus gravity.
Our pilot made a detour to fly around the crater allowing me to get some high resolution, 4K video footage of the landmark. I just happened to be explaining the background of the landmark to the other passengers at the time.
This flight was arranged by the B612 Foundation, which is a non profit that has set itself the goal of protecting the Earth from the asteroid hazard. Please donate!

The crater has a public visitors center which allows crater viewing and includes a number of other space exhibits

After many iterations, and some spectacular accidents we finally got to see a StarShip tank and thrust section take flight for a 150m hop, demonstrating flight control systems using only a single raptor engine. This is a very visible step on the long road to developing Starship and Superheavy into a fully operational, fully reusable launch vehicle.
Once again, thanks to all the space fans who are covering this from Boca Chica, I couldn't do this without your coverage and you're doing the community a great service.

India making it to the moon successfully is the most important news of the past couple of weeks, and I'm happy to see the successful culmination of this mission. Beyond that we have a bunch of rocket launches including the first SAR satellite in Geosynchronous orbit launched by China, Russia's Launch and crash landing of Luna 25, the first Group 7 launch of Starlink, and the first proper passengers on Virgin Galactic.

Continuing the reusable space program, we have a fancy new space tug that needs to be launched, and on taking our Kethane Miner to munar orbit we find a bit of a parking problem.

I really want to send a mission to duna, but when I start to thing realisticly about accommodating crew for 200+ days I realise I need more than a single capsule to house them.

From the obscure corners of space history comes a strange story about how a company best known today for making breakfast cereals worked on classified intelligence operations and accidentally helped the Soviet space program deliver a worlds first.

Attempting to hit the space center buildings with steel rods travelling at 1.2 km/sec is not easy task. But We need to know how the building stand up to these kinetic kill devices now that they are destructable.....
