Her eyes wandered on the horizon. Despite the full moon brightly illuminating the coast, it was difficult to discern her face. It would seem that some sinister veil of affliction obscured it, blurring the contours. She stood as still as a statue on the edge of a cliff. Her black dress rippled slightly, revealing shimmering ornaments embroidered with golden thread. She was suffering. She looked up. She felt like she was standing on the top of a mountain peak so high that she could touch the sky. It was cloudless and quiet. Only the uneven roar of the ocean stirred sporadically an endless silence. She looked down. Barely visible waves foamed and washed the flat wall. A troubling question rolled over her head, piercing the silence like the annoying buzz of a mosquito waking her up from a restless slumber every now and then. "Is it possible?" she asked herself, deluded, that the answer would come by itself, but all she could hear was a soft wave roar. She turned around. She now stood with her back to the ocean. She looked straight ahead, but she could no longer see the way back home. All she could witness was a darkness, so frighteningly empty as if there was still an endless edge in front of her, suspended somewhere in space. There is nothingness, she thought and closed her eyes. "How do you search for what has been abandoned?" she repeated silently in her mind and leaned back... A feeling buried deep down in recesses of ones heart. “Is it shame to remember?” you ask yourself. “Is it shame to recall?” you blame yourself. “Is it weakness to forget?” you judge yourself. With each new moment crossing your life, the emotional residue remains, changing your nature a little bit.
