ello everyone!
This time, one interesting task came to the fore.
Namely, mount a front basket on such a mountain bike with a front suspension fork.
The problem is that the standard fasteners of the purchased basket do not fit at all.
And the bicycle fork itself is not provided for mounting the basket.
As you can see, it moves up and down.
But the problem needs to be solved, which is what I will do this time.
As you know - nothing is impossible!
This bicycle fork is equipped with v-brake type front brakes.
I will be using these brake mounts to mount the basket.
So, we have three mounting points, this will be enough to create a transition structure between the fork and the basket.
I'll start by cutting out three mounting ears with 6mm holes from the metal strip.
I fix them in the places where they should be.
And I imagine how the basket will look attached to the bicycle.
I will make a base for fixing the basket from square tubes, and then I will think about how to connect this structure to the ears that I previously attached to the bicycle fork.
The work is boiling - I cut the metal with an angle grinder, clean it, and weld everything into one part.
The work is not difficult, but troublesome, you need to do everything evenly and in parallel so that the structure is reliable, strong and beautiful.
Everything is welded to a heap.
Now such a structure needs to be nicely painted.
I think that the red color will be just right.
Here's what I got.
Do you think I did something useful or wasted my time?
I would be interested in your opinion.
Now I will mount everything on the bike.
Now I will screw this entire structure to the bicycle fork.
Next, I fix the basket to the transition conductor.
And how do you like this, Elon Musk?

Hello my friends!
In this video you will see how I made stand for the angle grinder.
The design is simple and reliable.
For its manufacture I used profile pipes 20 * 40 mm, 20 * 20 mm and the hub of the bicycle rear wheel.
A little cutting, drilling and welding. Watch the video, comment, Like and subscribe!
Thank you all for watching!
Good luck!

Hello, you are on the YouTube channel "MADE IN GARAGE"!
Today I am happy to share with you my project - creating my own metal cutting machine right in my home workshop. I use 200mm wide steel channel as the base of this machine and it gives it reliability and strength.
In this video, I will show you all the steps of building a machine, including making a milling attachment and connecting the necessary electric motor to run the machine. Also, I use off-the-shelf guides with linear bearings to ensure smooth and precise movement.
With this project, I can easily make my own metal parts and save on equipment. All necessary tools and materials are listed in the description of the video. Join me on this exciting DIY journey into the world of metalworking!

Here are general instructions for making a simple flat solar collector:
Step 1: Gather materials and tools:
- A metal-plastic pipe or buy a ready-made heat exchanger made of pipes (for example, copper).
- Styrofoam or other insulating material to retain heat.
- Board of oriented strand board (OSB) to create a body.
- Polyethylene film or acrylic glass to cover the collector.
- Tools: saw, drill, rifle, screws, insulating tape, thermometer and other necessary equipment.
Step 2: Construction of the collector body:
- Cut out the shape of the body from the OSB board. You can make it rectangular or square, depending on your needs and available materials.
- Assemble the case using screws and thermal insulation tape to ensure good thermal insulation.
Step 3: Making the heat exchanger:
- If you do not have a ready-made heat exchanger from tubes, make it from a metal-plastic pipe. Create a spiral structure from the tube that will pass through the manifold.
Step 4: Styrofoam Placement:
- Place the foam in the middle of the collector body around the heat exchanger. It will help keep the heat in the collector.
Step 5: Collector Cover:
- Cover the upper part of the collector with polyethylene film or acrylic glass. It should be transparent so that sunlight can penetrate into the collector.
Step 6: Connection:
- Connect the inlet and outlet pipes of the heat exchanger to the coolant circulation system, for example, to the heating system in the house.
Step 7: Testing and Tuning:
- After assembling the collector, check it for leaks and air leaks. Perform test runs to ensure that the collector is working properly and transferring heat to the coolant.
Remark:
- Depending on your needs, it may be necessary to add a pump and thermostat to optimize the system.
- The results of solar collectors can vary greatly depending on geographical location, weather conditions and the efficiency of the collector you are building.
Remember that this is only a general guide and it is best to consult a professional if you have no previous experience in building solar collectors.

I was given an old rusty bicycle wheel, 14 inches in size. I decided to restore it. First cleaned of rust, treated with a rust converter, primed and finally painted. Then he inserted the bicycle sleeve and put on the tire and the bicycle tube.
Satisfied with the result.
I hope you enjoyed it too.
