In this video, we have to deal wIth a special PC case, the Cooler Master Master Frame 700. This case has great build quality and the whole concept is interesting, but there is lots of room for improvement.
Pros ?
• High build quality
• Build like a tank
• Modular design
• Great looks
• Includes a huge tempered glass side-panel
• It can be used as a test bench
• Two USB 3.0 and one Type C on the I/O panel
• 7x 2.5” or 4x 3.5” and 3x 2.5” drives
• The wings offer lots of space to install fans, AIOs, even the PSU
• VESA 100 for wall mounting (PSU goes on the wings, or you use an SFX PSU)
• Reasonable price given its build quality and capabilities
Cons ?
• Lack of clear instructions
• Tough to assemble
• Super Heavy (it weighs a ton!)
• A larger than 160mm PSU will have its cooling fan semi-covered by the HDD bracket if you install it at the bottom side of the mainboard tray
• Some screw threads are painted over, so you will have to apply more force to the screwdriver
• You have to pay extra to get the Vertical GPU mount. It costs 60 dollars, but it includes the PCIe extender cable
• The CPU’s cut-out is not large enough. Part of the socket is covered
• This is an open case, so there is no soundproof
• It takes too much space
• If you install an AIO on the wings, it should have long tubes
• The bundle doesn’t include any fans
